Was over in Tullamore Saturday. No way we should have lost by that margin. Harsh in the extreme.
Kildare would be a way better team than Galway.
Our midfield did well throughout but we again lacked scoring threat up front.

Would agree with this. If the Galway No. 13 has been playing in blue and white, we would have beaten Galway by at least as much as they beat us. He looks a really outstanding player, scored 1-4 or something and was centrally involved in most of the other key scores. We got to grips with him a little better in the second half but he was the key difference. We had plenty of very good ball going into our forwards (our half backs and midfield were very good in this regard) but the scoring threat wasn't really there. Still, I'd say that at least 3 or 4 of these lads will make the step up to senior in time. I thought Tyrell in particular looked a very good footballer - nice to see a big midfielder so comfortable with his foot passing.
