Dunno. Think EtH is good and players are for the most part doing better than last year. But you can have game plans, systems, scenarios but when your international centre half does that you can't legislate for it. DDG had a stinker as well and bar pull the gloves on himself I'm not sure what else he can do.
Utd need a clear out and a rebuild.

A clear out is expensive with players on high wages and long contracts who the club payed a lot of money originally.

Champions League qualification was always this year's priority and Ten Hag has almost achieved that. No Thursday Cup next season. Recent injuries have shown the lightness of the squad, but that will be rectified in the summer.

Only criticism is has any young English player broken through, Pep has played Rico Lewis & Cole Palmer, Chelsea withLewis Hall.

Yes, qualifying for the Champions League was the Priority (at the beginning of the season). Winning a Cup (even if it is the League Cup) was also important. In fairness, there is only so much that can be done with this crowd, they are a medium term project. Clearing out players is as important as getting in players.

Still an FA Cup to play for. If they get over the hurdle on the weekend, they will more than likely meet a Champions League and Premiership distracted Man City in the final.  Who knows?

DeGea always goes through calamity patches too.
He has tried different things with Sancho to no avail. Martial is flaky. McFred duo are average squad players.

Rashfords goals have papered cracks but it's a poor squad with downright bad players in some positions.

Maguire should never play again. Throw a youth player in even. A disgrace. De Gea not much better but has gave over a decade with some years being our only competent player, hasnt the feet to play football though and too many mistakes. McFred alright as squad players, Fred really good in certain games. Probably cut the losses with Martial at this point tbh. Serious talent but can't even rely on him to be fit as a back up option if a proper striker was bought.

No doubt ETH is the man for the job but still plenty to do. First 11 is strong but the back up just isn't there to rotate.

Martial, holy God.  How on earth is he still at that club?  Probably cut their losses?  Seriously?  He has been there 8 years!  It's laughable.  Has he had 8 good games?  If anything highlights man utds mediocrity over the years then it's this.  Seville must have been rubbing their hands when they seen his name in thr teamsheet as they had him on loan and realised how poor he was.
