Technically, was that not a neutral venue?

A great result for Liverpool. Getting the nil all result at Anfield proved to be crucial. The away goals kept Bayern too far back.

Bayern refused to attack! At home with their current form they would have had even the most ardent of pool support worried about this tie!

Fair play and along with Barca City and Juventus are favourite for the title

United 3 times at least, Arsenal 2, Chelsea 1 or 2...

Actually, City beat them in 2013. Never mind.

Mane is the new Salah.... :D
Fantastic performance,  apart from the few mins from the own goal to half time Liverpool controlled that game.
Really professional performance.
Don't care who we get in the next round.
Don't think the early substitution did us any harm at all, but happy with that performance. Completely controlled the second half and a nice bonus of Salah doing something brilliant resulting in a goal, for the first time in a few games. (Although I really wish Gini had given him that pass at the end rather than blazing it into row Z).

I'd hate to get City or Barca next, and wouldnt be too keen on Juve. Obviously Porto and Ajax would be the plum draws on paper, although don't know enough about either to say that with certainty. For a CL quarter-final, you certainly couldnt complain about getting either United or Spurs. Could lose against them, but would fancy our chances over two legs.
