Great win for killeeshil, looks like they will be too strong for anyone in div 3 so should stay up.

Not many in Division 2 sad to see Tattyreagh go down. Some fall from grace having been in division 1 not so long ago.
were they? :o

2019

Seems to have happened a few of the smaller clubs like Killyman, Eskra, Urney and now Tattyreagh.
getting to Division 1 a great achievement at the time but long term it probably knocked the stuffing out of them as they all ended up back in Junior a few years later.

Can't forget the giant clubs like Augher and Strabane

Wonder did a certain someone get out on bail to celebrate Fintona's 'Back down to division 3 cup'.

I'm not sure where he is at that you can get out on bail

2007. Approx half of Division 2 were relegated to Junior that year due to league restructuring and they are only getting back to Intermediate now.

Fintona had an unbelievable period in late 70s.
They won JFC in 1975.They won the IFC in 1978 and were just beaten (1pt) by Carrickmore in SFC in 1979.
One of my first SFC finals, not sure where final was. Dessie Campbell and Dermot Mc Guigan stood out as key players

East tyrone football has dropped significantly, specifically in junior but as well as senior, can't see the oneill cup coming to an eastern team for a long time

You'd have to crown this Errigal team as the best seen in Tyrone in the last 15 years should they win by 3 or 4 plus next weekend? I don't think Ardboe are as bad as they were made to look on Saturday but jesus they were blown away.

You'd have to go back to the Errigal / Carmen teams of 20-30 years ago since we have seen anything like this, should they do the back to back.

Would you have Ardboe in the top 10 teams in Tyrone football?
Errigal Ciaran, Trillick, Dungannon, Dromore, Omagh, Killyclogher, Edendork, Carrickmore would all be ahead of them. Would they be any better than Donaghmore, Loughmacrory, Galbally? Debateable.

Did they not beat Omagh in the first round?  This Errigal side looks real deal pushing Glen close last year in first ulster run for a right few of the players could stand to them this year.  I see them beating the Armagh champions with something to spare if get over Trillick.

BIGONE

Any new talent invited up round Garvaghy yet? Would tyrone be back doing anything?

Errigal definitely the justified favorites but Trillick will be a completely different prospect to Ardboe. Favourites yes but unbeatable they are not.
