Many have pointed out snidely that there's lots on here willing to convict without hearing all the evidence. Conversely, it's easy to see there are also loads on here who are really hoping these lads are not convicted and making the case for them. I'd ask those guys (and it does seem to be guys) - if it were your daughter, or wife, or girlfriend......what would you think then? Would you post the same rubbish like "why wait 2 days".......especially when she told her friends within hours?

I'd don't think it's snide to wait to hear all the evidence.  And I personally haven't posted anything about how long she waited to go to the police..utterly irrelevant if she waited 2 months or went that morning.  And its stupid to just say what if was your wife daughter etc.  Of course if it was personalized you would be 100% sure of their guilt.  But the point of a jury is to take out the personal aspect of it.
It's very easy to take sides and from reading social media I've seen the full range of stupidity and crassness from "If she was being raped why didn't she scream the house down instead of chowing down on Olding" to "I hope these rapist c***ts are raped in jail".

For me there is reasonable doubt and there they should get off based on what I've read but I'm not in court and there is a long way to go. As to Seanies comment that people don't want to see them convicted... If they are guilty then they should be convicted if they're not they shouldn't be.

In my opinion the whole thing hinges in this girl that walked in during the middle of it, if she says it didn't look like an attack. That's the end of it all right there. She's the only 'neutral' witness. Her testimony holds the key to the whole thing.

From what we've heard so far, she's walked in and said "oh", Jackson has allegedly asked did she want to join, which she said no and walked out. When this phase is fleshed out the case will be come clearer - If she's steamed and can't remember. There will be an element of reasonable doubt as quoted post.

Can you explain what an attack is supposed to look like? Plus she never seen what went on before she walked in.

Boys ultimately we don't have the forwards to compete with Dublin.

I would agree with this, you still need top forwards to win All Irelands and currently they dont exist in Tyrone.  Im not sure where the really next top, match winning forward/s in Tyrone are coming from.  We seem to have abundances of running half forward types but very little options for the full forward line.  Until we unearth some forwards who can be considered to be amongst the best in Ireland, then All Ireland glory will be out of our reach.  Forwards win matches.

How are we going to unearth a really top class full forward if we continue to use this defensive style of play particularly when it's also being used by the development squads..

Don't you understand that to "to compete with the best" you dont need to develope forwards apparently the opposition are to be convinced to stick the ball over their own bar to placate the mickey fan club on this interenet form. Anyone who dares question his methods

1. Dose not have a clue
2. never played the game
3. has not been picked by mickey
4. has had a relative who has not been picked by mickey
5. has never managed a team in their lives
6. has personel issues with mickey.

or possibly are a little feed up with paying good money to watch their county being beaten out the gate while "competing with the best" because our great leader has decided we dont need to play with a forward line which contains players who might actually threaten the opposition goals and plays a system that does not require you to defend a deficit. Time a few people woke up and smelled the coffee or is that a hint of gravy in the air ?

The vast majority of clubs in this county voted for Harte to stay so Bill, go you along to your local club meeting (I don't know who it is but they probably voted for Harte to stay) and tell them that you are sick of paying a few pounds to go and watch Tyrone play and that they need to wake up and smell the coffee because you believe Mickey Harte tactics are wrong. Tell them how pissed off you are and demand that they to listen to you and next time the vote for Mickey to leave comes up they should follow your advice. There's no point venting on here, nobody on here can make a difference but I'm sure, once they work out who you are, the lads in your local club will be glad to hear what you have to say.

Not technically true, vast majority of club delegates voted for Harte to stay. It was proposed on the night that the delegates be allowed to go back and discuss with their clubs, that was overturned with a counter proposal that it be decided there and then.

Would be surprised if this was true and would make no sense. Tyrone have played every week in the league and got on fine so not sure what harm 2 club games would do in the run up to the final. The only issue would be if the u21s happened to get to the semi final which would lead to things being messy. But at this stage that's far from probable. Hopefully just a rumour or the club season will never get played. I suspect it is a rumour cause if that's the case there'd only be one to two rounds max played before the Derry game.

Coming up to 3 weeks to start of league - no sign of fixtures, surely should be out this week?

Looks like genesis is down and out on Kodi and they are pushing the new app in the series: Exodus available through fusion repo

Any used it yet? any recommendations on a new build/repo?

Exodus has replaced Genesis and it's very good for films especially.
I have found that Phoenix is very good for films as well
cheers Gaffer - hadn't looked at it in a month or two - will install exodus this weekend and see what the craic is.
You're hardly related to the famous Gaffer from Ardboe?

I'd Recommend 123Movies as well - has never let me down.

I see in today's irish news that tyrone have tabled a motion at congress which will allow county teams more than the current 13 days exclusive control of county players before inter county championship games.
Wtf, does mickey harte feel the clubs shouldn't have any access to their players at all during the summer. This stinks, I'd love to hear what the mickey harte fan club on here think about this

Did you read the motion or the rule book?

(54)
That Rule 6.21 (c) – Inter-County Players Availability to Clubs - Official Guide Part 1 (page 89) be deleted.
Coiste Chontae Thír Eoghain;  Realt na Mara, Bundobhráin, Dún na nGal

6.21(c) specifies when inter-county players can be expected to fulfil club championship games prior to inter-county championship games.

Read the irish news. What is your interpretation of the motion

Don't believe everything you read in the paper. Tyrone haven't put that motion forward.

Draw for champ this week as far as I know.

As regards players playing two games in 24hrs that Mcrory game for dungannon was a refixture as pitch was unplayable the previous week, but sure blame the county board anyway. I'm sure some clubs could have got it refixed for midweek in garvaghy if they were that concerned.

Fixed for midweek - are you mad. Sure county minor training is on Mon, Thurs and sat so how are you going to fit in a game as well - more burnout..by the way the Tyrone U17's are training the same nights also so if you have anyone involved it doesn't suit. When these lads come to 'ordinary' club training they are goosed/knackered and not fit to do anything worthwhile and IMO are better resting but that doesn't send out the right signal to the 'ordinary club' team mates so it is a catch 22 scenario. I am not against development / academy squads, I think it is a great idea but they are doing far too much IMO but of course that is up for debate and everyone may not feel the same way.

Plenty more of that to come, just have a look at the Ulster U17/Minor Fixtures and Minor Club League. U17/Minor fixture on Saturday, Minor Club League on Sunday. Player burnout is alive and well!

A pure sham
Jury presumed Guilty  from the off instead of the other way around As for Dassey's Lawyer Len, he should never be allowed to defend anybody ever again
Unbelievable  that that would happen in  the Us in 2007

http://uproxx.com/tv/megyn-kelly-making-a-murderer-lawyers/

Really, I recall 3 of the jury said they thought him guilty initially, the jury looked at the evidence and convicted him.

Or they were forced a few strong minded people

We have already discussed the situation regarding the County minors and playing Club Senior Football, can anyone on this board clarify the situation regarding 17 year olds playing senior football? To my memory there was a proposal to introduce that rule this year. Very surprised smaller clubs have not tried to object to this!

17 year olds can no longer play adult football/hurling for their club.

Beginning next year a player must have reached his 18th year before he can now play adult football/hurling.

I think you're wrong, they can't play until they turn 17. It was the case that if you were 16 you could play as long as you weren't eligible for under 16 in the same calendar year. Either way it's a load of bollicks.

Sorry, yes you are correct.

I think the rule barring county minors from the clubs may prove controversial when some small clubs suffer because of it..........we will just have to wait and see I guess...........

We're fucked. We've 2 x minors and a county senior next year.

Did Tyrone vote last night to quash the rule that congress brought in last year or voted against quashing it? There appears to be confusion.

Tyrone voted to have the rule deleted.

That's what someone at the AGM told me too. However this is Teamtalk's tweet.

"Teamtalkmag.com ‏@teamtalkmagLIVE  Dec 15
Motion 4 - That NO County Minors can play for adult club teams during the county competition time.  PASSED"

Tyrone County passed the motion that Tyrone as a county should request that this rule be removed at Congress.  The rule will still stand unless Congress support the request from Tyrone.  I hope that makes sense.  If congress reject Tyrone's motion then minor players involved with the county wont be eligible to play club league games until the county exit the championship.

100pc.

I take it Teamtalks tweet is wrong then.

Yes I think they just worded it wrong.
