Just watched Hector - I used to like him when he first appeared but he's become a bit of a pain - it's all about himself.
Another pet hate - one RTE reporter interviewing another on News.

Seen Hectors first two documentaries on Religion and Travelers. I found both poor, biased, cliched and at times embarrassing. Hector used the age old cliched VW Van travelling across the country to find the 'Real' Priest or the Real Traveler. As if the common man did not know what they looked like or what they thought about things. Hector himself is entertaining, in a jack the lad sort of way. But the topics dealt with were stale and the conclusions were in no way enlightening.

As for TV licence being value for money, it's not bad in comparison to most things we pay for!
