Laois far too good. They look much physically stronger.

Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Getting out of d4 ahead of Wexford was the real achievement for Leitrim. They don't have the panel to compete with Laois who shouldn't really have been in d4 in the first place

What does that actually mean though? Laois were very deservedly relegated from D3 to D4 two years ago and failed last year to get back up.
Laois wouldn't be entitled to any delusions of grandeur about not being a D4 team. We've a lot to do to get back to being at the level we were at 15 to 20 years ago.

In football, Derry were in the Div. 4 Final five years ago and got their house in order, via clubs, a progressive county board and a plan.

Look where they're at now.

A good template to use for other counties who want to improve their lot.
