Fintona 1-16 Ballyhegan 1-06
Fairly easy and straight forward for Fintona, Ballyhegan had some nice forwards but not much else out the pitch.

Anyone any recommendations around Lake Garda, Verona, Venice?

Booked flights to Verona for next month but no accommodation yet

I'd recommend this below - stayed for 2 nights which is enough for venice. Moon apartment has two bedrooms even though there was just the two of us for 350 euros all in. Breakfast wasn't great but the room was fantastic.

Any idea how she managed to pay for a decent house while taking the minimum wage?

Does her husband work?

He used to work in Bord Gais

Anyone been to Cologne and recommend a hotel?
stayed in Hotel stern am rathaus in March 2018 for 5 nights @€110 a night. Only 2 minutes from Koln cathedral right in the city centre. Small boutique hotel with nice rooms and good breakfast.

I went to this whilst there and really enjoyed it but stayed away form the german section! germans and their nudity.

Hilltop fuels on the A5 Omagh - Ballygawley road today was 149.9p for petrol & 171.9p for diesel per litre. Cheapest I've seen locally.

Same prices in Newell  stores Dungannon
gents get yourself a petrol car and convert it to LPG - 70p a litre

Can you not change every time there's a  price increase as the contract you have signed up to has been broken?
You can only change if you are not in a fixed contract and unfortunately they are a cap limit on the number of switches each energy provider can accommodate on a monthly basis so it may take several weeks to switch providers if there is a rush

Lads i wouldn't jump the gun and switch right now, there is more price increases in the pipeline! even for those that have just announced one already. Give it until near the end of the month especially gas users as there is a few massive increases incoming

I was there in the summer of 2019 for 2 weeks, flew in via London with Virgin (great flight). The airport is like something from a 1980's cold war movie with massive queue's, guards with machine guns and really intimidating security.
Spent a week based in Havana with day trips to the bay of pigs and dinar del rio, and then a week in Varadero which is a tourist resort akin to cancun only poorer. I loved the people and seeing the genuine cuba before the americans make it all like cancun.
It's not a country for children as there is nothing really for them to do. I had issues with the food quality but i'm very picky but the other half had no issue. In varadero food isn't an issue.

Overall it is the safest country I've probably ever been to, the people are really nice, really patriotic and proud of their country. If you want to see a country warts and all before modern life completely takes it over id definitely say go now.

I think it's about time RTE had a clear out of football commentators, be that Spillane, MM, Kavanagh, McStay, Whelan and o'rourke.

Sky beats them every time when it comes to Football coverage, be that ex-players or proper journalists examining and breaking down the game instead or bullshit stories, personal attacks, "back in the day" diatribes and the same old platitudes.

From a northern perspective Oisin is very good but thats about it

That's a very honest article by McStay, have always thought he was one of the better pundits working in the media and he has walked the line so has seen the GAA from every side.

He makes particularly good points about how Mayo seem to produce an abundance of athletic running type footballers but very few final third finishers. Also raised an interesting statistic about how Mayo had 8 wides, a missed penalty and 2 balls dropped short in the final third of the match. That is a meltdown of bad decision making by anybodys standards.

I'm also glad that somebody from within Mayo football has finally had a go back at Brolly after he stuck the boot in again the morning after an AI final defeat. He needs to be challenged on those personal attacks but a lot are afraid to get drawn in and speak out about it.

Where was McStay's statement on the personal abuse brolly doled out to Cavanagh a few years ago? Not much use calling out that type of personal attack only when it hits close to home. He has had ample opportunities and a TV platform to call Brolly out previously but failed to do so.
