So it's C/B against Oulart next Sunday.

MLR have proved that if you want something enough you'll get it and C/B have the players to do it. Hopefully a big game from the likes of hyland and Picky as these lads will have to perform on the day if they're to get through.

You have to hand it to Mick Lawlor though for a man of 42.

He is still a great man to win ball and you don't lose your skill with age.

What happened Annanough yesterday?

Did they turn up on the day or were Clonaslee just too good for them?

Does anyone give any hope to Emo at all?

Mickey Lawlor will torment them one way or the other. Emo ain't the worst and have improved as the championship went on.

Like Operation Market Garden it could be a bridge too far!

A game against the All Ireland Champions in Nowlan Park would be a great occasion and that's where you'd want to be with a game under your belt.
Stick to the stand though as the bandwagon dubs will be in the terrace (tanked up from the night before).
Could Laois bring hurls to that one??

We've kept well within 20 of Dublin the last 3 or 4 times we've played them. They haven't given us a hiding like some other teams have received. Lest we forget we actually went in leading at half time the last time we played them.

Lets see what the numbers are like for the start of the year and give Lilis his chance.

C/B should really give Leinster a go. Home to Wexford winners on Nov 1st and a semi against the winners of Carlow v Westmeath if they win. Should really focus on getting to Leinster final.

N way would Healy come back in my opinion. Hurling is his preferred sport and he is commuting from England as it is so a non runner. Jaysus if you had a team of Cahir Healy's!

Ross's missed free at the end was crucial for Emo. If that had gone over it put 2 points between the sides. In fairness a draw in the end was fair on both teams. Watching Portlaoise in the second game though it's hard to see anything other than another title for them. They were sharp and always had a response in them if Killeen drew near. There is also a bit of steel about them which was evident. They are all good footballers, very well conditioned and look sharp at the moment.

On another note why is the replay between Arles and Emo  fixed for Thursday evening with a big Euro qualifier against Germany on at the same time. The clash will certainly affect the attendance.

Big shock that O'Dempseys were relegated. Not the fact that Ballylinan beat them, just that a team that would have aspirations towards the latter end of the championship finds themselves relegated.

Draw for U21 for 2016 has been kind to Laois. Dublin, Wexford and Kilkenny on the other side of the draw so if they get their act together they should make a Leinster final. They will want to be better than they were this year.
