A man and woman have been found murdered in a house in Craigavon, County Armagh.

Their bodies were discovered in the property in Legahory Court just after 1800 GMT on Monday.

Detectives from PSNI's serious crime branch are investigating the circumstances of their deaths.

Police appealing for anyone who noticed unusual or suspicious activity in the area to contact them.

That'd be Craigavon actually, but close to Lurgan. BBC has picked it up, doesn't seem to be any details yet.

it's front page of irish news, they reckon the killer knew them as he would have to have been let into the house, heavily fortified steel doors and bulletproof glass with CCTV everywhere

Isn't it crazy that we have only 10 posts about a double murder that happened during the day (6.pm)

How bad allegedly were this couple? Was the woman as bad or just unfortunate to be in the wrong place at wrong time?

Can't comment on the wife but the man was invovled in a murder of a teenager 10 years ago. You only have to look at their fortified house to tell he had a shady background. Most of the estate he lived in has been knocked down but before that it had a serious hood/drug problem. My initial suspicion is that this man's past caught up with him - suggestion of loyalist involvement wouldn't be far off.

Yes and I'm all for live by the sword and all that, but usually the board would have a few more posts regarding a double killing that seems to be done by a hit man possibly.

I know there are some bad women out there but......
