Never watched The Wire, but Chalky White was a great character in Boardwalk Empire.

Only after watching him in The Night Of last week.

Cancer apparently.

He wasn't for everyone, but I liked his Weekend Update stuff.

He was hilarious in the spoof Jeopardy sketches as Burt Reynolds, giving abuse to Will Ferrell's Alex Trebec alongside a very obscene Sean Connery character

Yes a true competitor on the pitch, absolute gent off it, he was dealt the cruelest of blows and met it head on. RIP Anto

What year was he diagnosed? Lived past normal expectancy?

So sad to hear about Anto Finnegan. He was a great corner back. I remember going to a few Antrim matches around 1999/2000, and he always stood out. A real warrior on the pitch. Such a devastating diagnosis at such a young age. But he campaigned tirelessly, even when it was clear the illness was gradually worsening.

RIP.

He fought as good a fight as he could have. Rip Anto  :( Feels like a good few years since diagnosed.
