$50 shipping charges on a item that weights less than a pound. Who the f**k do these people ship with? ???
Anyway, long story short... is a phrase whose origins are complicated and rambling.

inisceithleann

having to pay postage and packing for something on ebay that costs more than the item you're buying. it defeats the purpose of online shopping.
Life is a ticket to the greatest show on earth

ONeill

No it doesn't.

An item costs in the shops £10

On Ebay £2

Postage £3.

Catch yourself on.

If you pay more than what it offered on the streets then you're a fool.

I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

Wireless mice/mouse/mouses/mices (computer type).
Sorry but they are a load of bollox!
Right, I gave up on that heap of shite. I am now using the finger mouse pad thingy (Yes, I'm on a laptop. Why would you buy a wireless mouse for a laptop sure you're going to be sitting beside the feckin thing? That's what I thought but the eggheads at PCWorld made me. :'() and it is also hopeless. I keep clicking on things that I don't mean to when moving the cursor i.e all the fecking ads on this board. >:(

That's why there's an adjustment for the sensitivity on the laptop pad ;)

Not sure if its been motioned but this is the mother of all gear grinding as far as I am concerned

People whom wont pull over when holding up traffic. If it's an old person I don't get as mental as I would if it's a younger person. Can they not see that they are f**king holding everyone else up? They are the people who cause accidents, not the lunatic flying down the road!. It leads to road rage. Well in my case anyway.

old people should not be allowed on the road. they should be made to re-sit their driving test at 55 and every 5 years after that
we're here for a good time, not a long time

Inform me! I'm getting the hang of it now but it does have a mind of its own from time to time.

Right click the Pad icon in the bottom right corner of the tool bar, select properties,
from there you have the option to select how sensitive the pad will be to pressure.
You can also turn it off and just use the left button to select.
Of course my system maybe set up different to yours so this could well be utter bollix to you :-\

Pints have you not got into enough trouble for that  ;)
Only by those stuck up know it all parents who think they deserve special treatment.
If they knew so much they'd be fit to get a few children to walk through a car park with them!

w**ker.
Why's that?
That's something I'd like an answer to.

QuoteNot surprised that you burnt the dinner twice, you come across as the type who'd be eating two dinners
If it's going...yeah why not?

I take it you have no kids; and by kids I mean toodlers - hence the name - mother and toodler spaces.  All toodlers have to by law and for safety be in a car seat, not a booster seat a car seat, very very young childern this seat gets taken out of the car and put on the pram - this requires space for the mother/father hence these spaces have the extra room round them.  Even older kids out of these seats need a car seat and invarable cannot walk yet or walk very well so when they are taken out then need to be placed into a waiting pram or buggy - especially if you have other kids to deal with.  People like yourself who selfishly take up these spaces at the expense of a mother/father and their toodler should be clamped and towed away.

I've been through this before but here goes again
1.  I've no children, doesn't mean I don't know anything about babies, toddlers or children.  I'm not going to go into my personal circumances but I know as much about children as some parents.
2.  My main objection is these spaces being at the doors.  Would these spaces not be better used for disabled people?
3.  I have never seen or been in a parent toddler space that you would have room for a trolly along side the car.  Therefore why would you want to take children/babies out of a car at the most busy end of the carpark where's there's throngs of people, cars etc?

To believe that you deserve special treatment is quite typical of today's generation of selfish parents.

You really are a first class w**ker - I think you'll find these spaces are along side disabled spaces but seem the type of p***k that would park in the disabled spaces as well.  Think you're attitude would change had you kids you plank.
Um I know they're beside disabled spaces  ::)
And I don't park in disabled spaces.
So we've say three disabled spaces and two selfish parent and toddler spaces - I happen to think it'd be better and make more sense to have five disabled spaces.
Why do these spaces have to be at the doors?

I will try and explain once again.  For a parent to get a child in and out of a car requires more room than the 3 inches each side of the door in a normal space; the supermarkets, shopping centres further aid the parent and child by having the spaces close to the exits/doors so that the safety of the child(ren) is put first when a parent loaded with shopping and trying to negotiate child(ren) safely into his/her parked car.  I just learned that a clamping system is being introduced by major shopping centres for people who abuse the mother/toddler spaces - lets hope you get clamped [edited by Mod3]

Yes I know why the spaces need to be wider, if I come out of the shop with a big box I could be doing with a wider space but I don't see these popping up.
They need to be at the doors - for the safety of the children eh?  If a parent can't walk a couple of children through a car park they shouldn't have children!
How do you think a parent with no car does?  How do you think parents that don't get the 2 or 3 selfish parent and toddler spaces do?

Because a tool like you is parked in them?  They manage, we all do - for someone who has no children this argument is obviously lost on you.  By the way comparing carrying a wide box with a small human being shows just what a [edited by Mod3]

No I don't park across 2 or 3 of them and I don't get them most of the time, they're usually filled.
If you can manage, then manage - don't be so selfish.

It's sad you're reduced to name calling (I thought the admin was putting a stop to it?) when you have no argument.

How do I do that btw, because I happen to think the spaces would be better used if they were disabled spaces?

Ah now pints, you can't say there is no arguement for the parent and child spaces, it has been put forward by snowed under, myself and others on this and in fact on a couple of other threads as well at this stage. Snowed under has lost the cool which I have done before with your ignorant manner, that is understandable. But now you are going and telling teacher (you can't go telling mammy as she is parked at the back of the car park), that is a bit childish. Have you reported it yet  ::)

I haven't told teacher anything - I could have reported his name calling but I havent.
You and him have put across some argument about unfit parents not being able to walk through a car park that's not very convincing.
