As we approach the final stages of the club championships in each of the three grades in each county in Connacht it wont be long until focus switches to the Connacht Club championships. So whos still in the running to emulate Corofin, St. Croans and Arann Islands.

Roscommon SFC Semi Final Stage
Roscommon Gaels v Padraig Pearses
St. Bridgets v Clan Na nGael

Roscommon IFC Final
Fuerty v Michael Glaveys

Roscommon JFC Semi Final
St. Bridgets B v Ballinameen
winner to meet Shannon Gaels in the final

Galway SFC Semi Final
Cortoon Shamrocks v Corofin
Mountbellew/Moylough v Salthill-Knocknacarra

Galway IFC Final
Moycullen v Athenry

Galway JFC
???

Leitrim SFC Final
Glencar-Manorhamilton v Mohill

Leitrim IFC Final
Ballinamore v Gaeil na Meilge

Leitrim JFC Semi Final
Ballinamore B v Gaeil na Meilge B
Winner to play Mohill B
Is there a full junior club to represent Leitrim this year? Seeing as the 3 clubs left to contest the junior championship are all second teams.

Sligo SFC

Sligo IFC
??

Sligo JFC Final
Owenmore Gaels v Eastern Harps

Mayo SFC Quarter Final
Breaffy v Garrymore
Castlebar v Aghamore
Ballinatubber v Ballina

In the semi final, The Neale, Westport and Hollymount. Not sure of the draw.

Winner to play Ardnaree

PP have Corofin at 4/9 to win Connacht, Brigids at 7's, Ballintubber at 10's and Castlebar at 11's. That's a very short price for a team who were vey close to going out the first day against Tuam. Some of that hunger that was there last year will have gone.

Syferus

Both Roscommon and Mayo's current junior champions with every chance of being senior clubs by year's end.

Calm down Syfín :D
Last 2 Junior Champs meeting in Ros Inter Final.

Davy's given us a dream to cling to

Isn't Castlebar Mitchels B team the current Mayo junior champions?
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Ah yeah. Achill got to Inter by losing the final so. Glaveys and Achill played out a cracker in McHale at junior last winter.

Can't Mitchell's go to Inter if they wanted to, any Mayoeens know? Maybe they declined?

Walk-in down mchale rd , sun out, summers day , game day . That's all .

Farrandeelin

Mitchels B are intermediate after winning junior last year. Achill represented Mayo at junior level last year due to the fact a B team can't be a representative but are still junior.
Inaugural Football Championship Prediction Winner.

Mitchels B moved up to and are still in intermediate after winning junior last year. Achill represented Mayo at junior level in Connacht last year due to the fact a B team (Castlebar Mitchels B - last year) can't be a representative in Connacht but are still junior.

I expect Ardnaree to finally get the monkey off the back this year in Junior. Achill (like all really rural clubs) will probably fly home a few stars to get them over the line.

Is there a draw that I can see somewhere for the senior, intermediate & junior championship in Connacht or has it been made yet?

Breaffy House Mayo GAA Junior A Football Final - Killala - Vs - Ardnaree Sarsfields will be played Sat 10th Oct at 4pm @NaStiofanaigh Ballina

Syferus

Two underdog wins in the senior semi-finals today.

Great final - Pearses (under Cake's sage tutelage) will win their first ever senior county title or south Roscommon's original dynasty will return to power.
