Firstly they're called CHALLENGE matches!
Secondly Roscommon beat us by 5 points last week. 2-18 to 0-19

Darach Jigger O'Connor?  What's the story with this name, is Jigger a family nickname?

Think his auld lad, a former Roscommon player, was "jigger".

There is so little word on cavan whether it be challenges or who is left on the panel that I am wondering whether they will be fielding a team this year. That said Paddy Power has them 2nd favourite for promotion back to Div1. More likely they go to Div 3 in my view.

Is there a price on them on get relegated anywhere?

Heard Kildare gave them a trimming at the weekend.

We played Galway too the week previous and lost 2-16 to 1-11. I didnt see the team that played galway but it was described as an understrenght side on the website. I saw the team that played limerick and that had 6 to 7 lads youd expect to be starting come the league on it

Well lads/lassies,
We (OY) played Waterford in a challenge match last week. Any word down yer end?
All I know is that Joe Bergin played for Offaly.
If any of ye could get details of the match, eg teams, subs, and of course the result, I'd really appreciate it.

Just so that I can relay it on uibhfhaili.com our GAA forum, for members of which are not present on this site.
Thanks in advance.
