The All-Ireland Alphabet Championships

Might be the saddest thread ever, but was just thinking there that if teams were formed on the basis of the first letter of a player's surname, which letter would win the All-Ireland in either code?

I'm thinking in hurling:
"H" would have some good players: Harnedy, Horgan, Richie Hogan, Holden, Harte

so would "C" - Canning, Callanan - Colm and Seamie, not to mention Aonghus, Podge Collins, Patrick Curran, Noel Connors and Cody at the helm.

but "M" would be the strongest - All those Mahers - John and Noel McGrath, the Mannions, Kevin Moran, Paul Murphy, Graeme Mulcahy, McMorrow, Conor McGrath, David McInerny etc.

Didn't give the football too much thought but off the top of my head

"O" would take some stopping - O' Donoghue, the O' Se's, O' Connor, O' Carroll

and "C" would have the Coopers, Connolly, Damien Comer and Sean Cavanagh for starters.
