Nah no way! Pepper is it for me :-* :-*. Got an email there the other week of some of her more 'racier' pictures... She's unreal!! Next Elle, Jennae, then I'd have Skye and Rosie on about a par. It is quality viewing at the moment though!

I heard about the new plotline coming up. Izzy may be gone but she's not forgotten!

After an exile of a few months I started watching again this week... How happy am I???? Again the story writers on Ramsey Street have earned their stripes once more wth a week of thrills and spills... what can Elle do to get Max back? Wll Steph take him back? Is the strange head of Katya gone forever? Will Pepper throw on a bikin for the lads?? Let's hope next week can follow what has been a truly remarkable turn of events on the Street!

Strange game of cricket. To be fair to both sides some of the batting wasn't great and the fielding at times was absolutely shambolic!!

Oh and that Aggers is a twat "blah blah they shouldn't be allowed to play blah blah they're not good enough blah blah" He's a dick. How are we going to get better unless we keep playing games??

Not to take this off course too much but why was there some gabshite wearing a Rangers top in the middle of the crowd?? Fair enough people wearing an NI jersey and the NI flag beng flown but WTF would you wear a Rangers jersey to an Ireland game for???? (I would also condemn any dckhead wearing a Celtic jersey as well before anyone has a go, but I'm sure nobody will ;))

Sounds like madness!!! I thought I knew the rules of cricket but surely Ireland won the game by 1 wicket if Zimbabwe were all out at the end of the 50 overs.

Anyway it sounds like it was a fantastic game and if there are a few more like that I'm sure cricket will get a few more supporters around the place.

That sounds like a very strange song to me, I was sure that the cricketers would use Ireland's Call as well. I was in Barcelona a few years ago with the woman who was a hockey player and we decided to call into the hockey World Cup to see how Ireland were doing. To my amazement the team stood to the Ireland's call anthem. Anyone know why this is? I thouht it was only for the peanut huggers. I suppose if the anthem was brought in to recognise a 32 county team then it may as well be used for the cricketers and hockey players.

GAA Discussion / British Uni Championships

Saying as the Championship weekend begins on Friday week I thought it might be an idea to start a thread on who the favourites are for each of the competitions... who are the big name players to look out for and more importantly does anyone know where to head out to for a weekend when staying in Jurys Heathrow!

Personally I think it will be hard to look past Liverpool Hope for the main competition. We got absolutely tanked by them in the NW league and I personally thought they were better organised than John Moore's although it will be difficult to see what effect the loss of the University of Liverpool boys will have on the team.

St. Mary's and Napier may challenge the 2 Liverpool Uni's but from what I've heard they aren't as good as they have been in previous years.

As for Division 2 I'd say it will be a toss up between any number of teams as it will depend on what Uni's get their full teams out and also a lot will depend on conditions.

The plate competition will be an even bigger lottery. My club Man Met Uni (Now Manchester Comnined) have recently been relegated due to a 'clerical' error and we've a decent squad so we'll be lookin' to give it a good rattle.

Oh and please don't let the thread deteriorate into the Hoganstand version of "No Hope are better than John Moore's" "No John Moore's are better than Hope" as it gets a bit tedious reading the same thing 100 times over!

Alrite lads just wondering if any of you could shed any light on Derry's performance as I doubt there were too many of our supporters down who could give an opinion. Were we good or were Galway really bad or was it a mixture of both? Who were the standout players apart from Gilligan and Bradley?

QuoteI could be wrong but heard that in terms of attendance  the dublin tyrone match will the biggest sporting advent in the world during the weekend, even more than the superbowl on sunday night which will have a crowd of 75,000!!

If this is true its amazing that the league match, which is only the second tier competition in football can attract such a crowd given its the first round and not even a final!
I know the major attraction is because its underlights but even still!!

Not necessarily the biggest sporting crowd. It'll be a very close call anyway, Twickenham is also sold out AFAIK and it has a capacity of 82,000 while Croker has an extra 500. We'll have to wait for official confirmation before we can decide it It's still no mean feat for a national league game though!

AFAIK most places in Derry are covered by at least one club (Tobermore/Fivemilestraight area is a contentious one between Screen and Glen). There used to be a map of the club boundaries but I can't seem to find it anymore. As for the City Well I've no clue how clubs are divided out up there but I would presume that anyone who wants access to a club has it.
