There's no army, so no army council.

Most of the 'significant' figures are still there, in the background & they're all on the payroll at Stormont. Presumably they're not sitting scratching their holes & ordering up biros & paper clips every day? They're still providing what might be termed insight,  analysis, advice & guidance for the party.

A team could have 10-15 subs on any given day on top of all that.

Is the issue the number; or the behaviour?

My tactics were to order all subs to stand outside the wire (where there was one)  & insist that the 2 sets of mentors occupied opposite sidelines, well away from each other!!

Thinking of going to Lake Garda in September time with the wife and the new born, anyone been before? Where would good town/village to stay in?

Was in Riva years ago. Right on the North of the lake. Would think you want to go somewhere in middle, to have equal access to all parts. Remember one particular afternoon in Garda....it was very sultry & we were sitting in a bar, waiting for the boat. Owner told us to come inside. Next thing....hailstones belting down & you couldn't see the harbour for a peasouper. 15 minutes later....all cleared. Unbelievable!! One other thing...do not fly into Milan...4 hour journey.  As far as I know....Verona is nearer.

Hope all the sinners will be able to get to the polling station tomorrow the drop of rain might put them off.

How will these weather conditions affect the vote tomorrow? No doubt the turn out will be down but would there be any particular winners from sonething like less old people heading out to vote

I don't think it'll have any bearing - people will vote regardless of the weather.  People will go shopping and will vote on way back etc.

More interesting point is, in my opinion, is would today, Friday, as polling day have made any difference in turnout?

Difficult to say. We will never know.

I will be back in a day or 2 lads I will be busy working over the weekend in counting centre.
