Some of Curry's 3s, the one over Love in particular, were insane.
That was a ludicrous shot and yet not that surprising because it was him.

Would say GSW will win at least one of these two road games

Oraisteach

Would say so, Minder.  Had to say that one play makes or breaks a series, but that Game 1 block against LBJ that was reversed was crucial.  Cavs needed that game.

gawa316

Splash bros combine for 21 and still win. KD just unbelievable

The Warriors are impossible to like. If LeBron has to leave Cleveland to form a proper threat to them then so be it. And hopefully the locals won't start burning his jersey this time, it's not his fault he's being supported by cardboard cutouts.

That's demonstrably not true, at least in part. LeBron is singularly responsible for the massive contracts that Thompson and JR got which have the Cavs bogged down.

JR Smith looked a hell of a lot better the year they won the title and less of a punchline than he does now. LeBron didn't want Cleveland to trade Irving. With him this year the Cavs has a very solid shot of winning out, but instead tried to hedge their bets and ended up with a pile of trash that only makes it more likely they'll enter 2019 without either of their star players from last year on the roster. It has to go down as one of the worst and most stupid trades in recent NBA history.

They gave JR a contract that would pay him considerably more in 4 years than he had earned in his 12 year career up to that point. He was never close to that kind of player. They gave Thompson $82m for Christ's sake. LeBron has played both GM and coach at various points since he moved back.

The Iceman

I can't see a sweep happening. It could even go to 3-3 given the last few finals.  This is the time of year I begin to doubt if TV money comes in to play here and all of a sudden the Cavs come back and win 2 or 3 on the trot....

The only way a sweep doesn't happen is if the Warriors play half assed. They're just vastly superior as a team and are even better with Iggy back.

No way Cleveland bring it back to 3-3.

No one's saying it's a good contract but it was inevitable that when you're a key piece of a championship winning team your market value is at an all-time high.

The Iriving trade has more to do with the Cavs not being able to compete this year than it does with the contract situation. The Cavs should have told Irving to cop on and that if he wanted to leave it would only happen after this season. There's no reason they had to move him when they did, and it didn't even help them insulate for a post-LeBron future either so it worked under none of the possible criteria for a successful trade. The Cavs will go back to being basement dwellers if LeBron leaves as is very likely.

Yeah and Thompson & JR Smith just happened to be represented by James agent (and close friend) Smith signed his mega deal with the Cavs shortly after joining the same agent as James

I just can't join the dots..........

Another example of you talking out of your hole Syf. Irving's trade was about getting away from Lebron and his ball-hogging. Irving needed in his own words ''to become the best he could be''. Lebron wasn't letting him do that. The Cav's can't compete this year??? They're in the finals, and in a super competitive game 1 they lost, with Kyrie the Warriors were gone. Game 1 took a massive mind-numb from Smith to save GS. Game 2 it took a super human 3rd/4th from Steph, and now last night it took KD's superhero effort. Like it or lump it Lebron's need to be the alpha male and let no-one grow along with him has cost more Championships than he has won.
