No, you are starting your subs, not as much of a change as you might think.

No one is saying that the likes of a streaming service is not a revenue builder, before streaming we still had reasons to generate money, but some matches like Saturday night with everything on the line for Cork at home against the reigning champions needs viewed free
Is Gaago owned by RTE or the GAA?
Yeah but when you have rights etc involved then the games are scheduled way in advance. Did you know 2 months ago that this match was going to have riding on it what was riding on it?

Quote from: burdizzo on May 12, 2024, 12:51:13 PMClearly the Croatian song was by far the best one there, as was reflected by the public vote. However, the juries decided otherwise, so really it's all about pushing an agenda. Just a confirmation of what was probably always the case. Or certainly recently. Can't be letting the public actually decide!
Quote from: Armagh18 on May 12, 2024, 08:03:17 AMVery surprised at Wicklow. Though Oisin would have had them chomping at the bit for this. Maybe just a bad day at the office.

Quote from: Cyril Farrell fan on May 11, 2024, 07:35:23 PMIf counties are checking out for the Tailteann, it's not a good omen for the competition's future.
Quote from: Wildweasel74 on May 11, 2024, 08:38:51 PMWhat's the point kicking a ball in with maybe 2/3 Armagh men against 6 odd Donegal men
Quote from: jcpen on May 11, 2024, 09:08:07 PMIreland just on,sure in fairness she put on a decent show, it's a long way from Johnny Logan, Linda Martin and the excellent Rock n Roll kids but sure fair play to her I suppose.

Not been in it this year I must say I'm looking forward to this competition more than Dublin run to another all ireQuote from: trueblue1234 on May 08, 2024, 08:32:17 AMAs shown by this thread the big driver to the Tailteann Cup is that it's open for so many to get a run at it. Most of the counties in it could have a say if they get a bit of luck and a run going. We've had Wicklow, Laois, Antrim, Fermanagh, Down, Sligo, Kildare all tipped. If marketed right, this has potential. Makes a big difference from the AI run in!Potential for a very competitive competition. But it won't be promoted. Will get 2 minutes on the Sunday game and we will only see it at semi final stage. The GAA don't do promotion unless it's the Munster hurling championship. The 3 games for 30 euro is a good deal. But if your Down a trip to London should maybe be taken out and a 2 games at a tenner each offered.
Munster hurling is filling out stadiums right, left and centre, why wouldn't you promote it?
I think Donal Óg's gurning about Cork always being on GAAGO, behind a paywall but up to a few years ago none of this would be available to view anywhere at all.
