Looks like Monaghan v Armagh is the pick by a country mile.

I feel sorry for Armagh, they didn't deserve such a tough away game  but that's the ways of an open draw.

There are only hard places to go in the GAA.

At least there is no ad break before the football draw

The dog is slobbering for a walk.

:D :D :D :D :D lol

I suppose as night follows day it was such a certainty that a Derry player would get sent off, no wonder I could find no bookie reckless enough to post odds on it.

Regardless, revenge is a couple of eggs served with pleasure to a couple of foolish Derry girl/boy  girls/boys.

It's not on terrestial tv at any time, not even the highlights.
That a bit of a damp squib on the Lions strike for glory.

ah well, back to the gardening.

Looks like Mobray has made a statement of intent as regards McGeady,  to put a hold on any lingering momentum as regards his decision to leave if Strachan stayed on.

"he is essential to his Celtic blueprint, provided he sticks to the demands of the team"

The new Celtic boss spoke warmly of McGeady's ability yesterday in a manner that Gordon Strachan never delivered comfortably.

"He has the ability to beat men and create chances and opportunities for others. I want to try to get the best team on the pitch"

Are you a Daily Mail reader Ziggy?

Is it worse than
should prince charles keep his opinions to himself?
or
which one of the big brother housemates do you find more irritating?

If the cds are good when they are burnt on the computer and will play in a cd player around the house but not in the car cd player.
Car cd player is suspect

If the discs burnt on the computer will not play in any player, then the computer cdrw is suspect.

The average computer cdrw  is  of cheap quality and don't cost much to buy.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Z4oJdShQHA  that should be the link to the 'original' footage. Agree that this is a bit of a joke, the reaction gives it away like, the Monaghan player is holding his balls!! And he definitely didn't knee him in the chest..that much is clear.

Well it just goes to show you the dishonesty of McManus to try and get a man sent off by intimating that he was kneed in the groin.
He kneed him - in the stomach - not in the groin.
Get a grip on to yourself. Your talk is cheap.
Video evidence did not prove the catagory 2 of 8 weeks, does not mean McManus did not get a fair whack
Why are you claiming McManus is dishonest? He got a whack where it hurt.
Not like that idiot who feigned getting hit later on.

QuoteFreeman appeal heard
18 June 2009

Central Appeals Committee

At a meeting of the Central Appeals Committee held in Croke Park last night, an appeal from Tommy Freeman (Monaghan) was heard.

The appeal as submitted by Monaghan was upheld. The Central Appeals Committee decided to refer the case back to the Central Hearings Committee for reprocessing.
http://www.hoganstand.com/ArticleForm.aspx?ID=113388

What the hell does this mean?
The appeal was successful.  ;D

and hopefully another nail in the coffin of this selective one dimensional citation process.

Unless these citation panel guys look at all the game, from all the tv angles, they are unfit to press serious charges against a player, a process which puts the onus on the player to prove himself innocent or less guilty against false or exaggerated charges.

On the pitch, a ref spotting the Mullan incident would be entitled to dish out a straight  red card.
The RTE tv camera shot of Mullan does not show contact being made.
The video evidence was inconclusive for proving a category 2 offense of 8 weeks.

I wouldn't be too averse to an away pairing with London.

I would gladly put a few coppers into the county coffers for that one ;D

Logan to to give a head start to Tommy's appeal.

It might be worth digging up a medical report that confirms Tommy suffers from stereotypic movement disorder.

I couldn't find the odds anywhere on Derry to have a player sent off.

the above is the latest info (as per GAA.ie) and what will be implemented on Sunday !
Unless Meath lodge a fast last minute appeal and the GAA change its mind.
