2 adults in the front  of the first car died and 4 kids in the back who survived. That sounds like the kids lost their parents.
That would be truly heartbreaking.

I'd say that would be a fairly natural reaction.

Whereas this clampits first reaction is about the fact RTE broke the news ahead of BBC NI

RIP to all those who lost their lives today.
What a horrible individual to tweet that. He really has no shame.

Heard more about the accident this morning that makes his tweet all the more bizarre. And just plain weird that he hasn't taken it down yet.

Purely speculating based on the ages but I don't think this is the case. It was a person in 20s, 50s and 80s

Awful regardless. Rip.

Taylor shouldn't be let near the internet.

There were no ages on the initial reports. Terrible tragedy regardless who was involved.

That's a big long straight road which should be safe but it attracts boys going at serious speeds.

Wildweasel74

There a staggered crossing on it, plus a few small roads with quick turn offs from it also.

Just read on RTE that his sister is one of those who died

I have read it was his mother. Victim in 50s so mother makes more sense.

I was on this road this morning. Am I  a bad person because my first thoughts when I heard this was I hope I don't know any of these people as I don't think I can handle it?
Definitely not, I've had the stomach tighten in the past when I've heard of deaths on a road people I know may have been on. Totally natural. RIP to all the victims, hope for full and speedy recoveries for the injured

No John Taylor's sister. His mum I'm guessing is long dead
