Whos favorite for D1 Playoff this weekend?

Eglish for me, will be close and I think McKenna will play if required. He's already come out with a no regrets statement which I applaud!!

Why? He'll obviously only get a fine but what if an Edendork player had decided to take him out and he suffered a major injury or just a major injury by cruel luck? He's no regrets because he got away with it - I don't think you'll see him play again for Eglish until his time in Australia is over, but what he did will probably keep Eglish up, I expect them to finish off Loughmacrory.

Personally I think he was foolish to play in the game. He's a star over in Oz now.

Good point. Edendork have form in this regard remember Cavanagh last year. I think he had his head stood on.

And then "STOOPED" even lower threatening legal action afterwards ..... glad to see them away

Seen a tweet either yesterday or the day before giving out that he hadn't been selected for the Truagh job after meeting their selection committee. Obviously not short of options then!

I applauded McKenna's statement because he didn't regret helping his club despite the concerns coming from Essedon. He will be well fit to cover the fine he receives. He then went onto recognise that without his club he wouldn't be in Australia playing professional sport. So the penalty he faces doesn't outweigh his love for Eglish and club football.

I agree any player that steps out to play against a Damien Barton led Edendork does risk injury. Also some might argue the risk is greater against this Loughmacrory side but it comes back to the good of the club!!
Living the dream!!!

Sorry, but your statement is factually incorrect. There were no concerns from Essendon because they did not even know as their general manager has publicly stated.

You'll also not have to worry too much about Damian Barton led Edendork anymore as he's gone.
