Paddy Power

Donegal 8/13
Armagh 6/5

Boyle Sports

Donegal 4/5
Armagh 11/8

Draw is 7/1

All the expectation on Donegal to succeed. Would go against logic if McGeeney (holding back Armagh according to some) was to topple a Donegal side managed by McGuinness with a clear focus to win Ulster since he returned.

I cant see Armagh playing as badly again.
They drew in the league and then lost narrowly in the final to Donegal.
11/8 for them seems decent value.

McT is home grown so he transfer is pure profit and would help against the PSR regulations if they are getting tight.

No chance of off-loading Athony this season, so they are stuck with him for a bit.

Sancho and Greenwood are more likely to head for the exit.

Quote from: NAG1 on Today at 10:41:41 AMDon't think anyone overly shocked by this, the 3 young lads and I personally would include Bruno will be off limits.

The rest are available for a bid.

The rebuild has to start somewhere, losing Martial and Varrane off the wage bill will help, if could get Casimero and Erikson off to Saudi that would also be a big help.

Would keep Maguire and McTominay. Will have a job getting a lot of lads off the books who are still under contract.

Quote from: NAG1 on Today at 10:46:03 AMIf DG gets a positive outcome for the season he will be gone.

As to where he goes or who would take him that's an entirely different conversation.

Yep if he gets anything decent in the south he will be away, otherwise he may hang about as €70k a year or whatever it is would be hard enough to walk away from.

Important to note that the element of surprise will now be gone after Wexford .... teams will not be taking them lightly (or as lightly) in the upcoming matches

Very difficult job for whoever. I don't think ETH is the man. At this stage they probably need to reduce squad size and start behaving like a club who are only competing on one front. That's the hard reality, and then hopefully climb back up to CL level, but that's such a risk and a 2 year plan and I don't think the current manager will be afforded that after being there already for 2 years.

Quote from: Estimator on Today at 10:12:31 AMWas in the O'Duffy Terrace with the family for the Ulster Final last year. Couldn't believe the amount of alcohol an Armagh fan in front of us managed to get into the ground. He'd a cool bag full of cans. Not that he needed any more ale.. he soaked everyone in his vicinity when Armagh equalised, shaking cans and spraying them everywhere.

Obviously no checking of the bags on the way in and stewards clearly didn't want to deal with it in any way.
Fair play to him for getting the drink in, garda were checking bags on the way up to the stadium last year and even though i wasnt drinking was made up the coat etc but maybe I'm just a dodgy looking fella!
