I wasn't too far away with my shout for Errigals new management. Mark Harte and Adrian O'Donnell confirmed.

Only a matter of time before they took the job. They'll definitely be a force next year with them two men.
Sure they are always a force

Not that  big a force when they haven't won an o'neill cup since 2012.

Sorry my mistake, I thought 2 or 3 county finals in the last 4 years made you one of the top teams in the county

Do you just use this board as a way of arguing with people.

My understanding of being a force is a team capable of winning multiple titles in a short period of time, not to go 8 years without winning one. But go ahead I'll let you have the final word. ::)

Decent team? Yes. A force? No.

I can't see Harte and O'Donnell being the difference either.

Ballinderry have been on the decline for a good few years now, well before Harte and O'Donnell took them. It was actually a shock them taking the job as it's common knowledge Ballinderry haven't the same quality as they had mid 2000's. Money talks though  :-X

GetOverTheBar

They might have a club only Peter Harte, Aiden McCrory and Ben McDonnell next year. That would be some boost to Errigal to have no senior county panellists.

Not sure about the omission of P Harte just yet. The other 2 may be up for debate but I think Harte still may offer something to the setup

square_ball

I would be of the same opinion of Harte. I can't see him not being in the squad unless he decides to pull the pin himself. Has still plenty to offer. I would imagine McCrory may jump before he is pushed by the new man in.

GetOverTheBar

I agree with your both that he still has something to offer, I am working on the assumption the new management will ring changes. I don't see a former star of the county panel accepting a reduced role really - I could be very wrong on that one.

I expect new management to hold open trials before the end of the month, it would be the clever thing to try and get good grace with the clubs.

What a load off crap, Ballinderry when they took over were still up there, they ruined them completely
