Is it me or is there serious apathy about Tyrone at the moment? Game this weekend and zero chat about it or seems to be a lack of interest in it. Like most I wouldn't be surpised if Tyrone lost at the weekend as they are a team lacking a style of play or identity.

Is Healy Park the worse standard of a pitch for a county ground? State of the pith tonight was a joke but this has been ongoing for years. Was there not work done to the pitch recently or is work meant to be done on it.

20 the boy who deserves the ban there. Going by that video - he started it. To me 28 was only defending himself. Looked decent with the mits.

Defending himself? As far as I am aware he was an unused sub. Entered the field of play to form part of a melee. If CB don't sanction him his own club should. Unacceptable behaviour, not part of GAA anyone trying to justify this should think about what their life morals are.
Alright Dramatic Donna 👍🏻

If your son was the Eglish guy running past 28 that got lamped what would your opinion be? I think you really need to have a look at yourself if you think this is acceptable, hopefully you aren't involved in coaching at any level

Does anyone know the answer to this question? Lot of teams now using the veo system which has the three cameras. Could the Co Board request access to any of these to sort out any disciplinary issues as there would be no hiding places then as all would be caught on camera.

I find that the construction industry is the worse. This is for office staff and direct labour to construction firms. Long hours from half 7 to 5 Monday to Friday and then wonder why they can't attract people to work for them. No flexible working, no remote working or early finish on a Friday.

Family firms worse again as no matter how good an idea is to improve work if the boss doesn't like it then no chance. Too many firms wants to be 21st century firms but treat their staff like they are still in the 20th century. Bare minimum of holidays and perks but keep doing things the way we've been doing them as always been done that way.

To get promotion need to be friendly with the boss no matter how good you are at your job. Only way to get better terms is usually threaten to leave.

Younger generation are looking at these firms and rightly so going here no I want better terms. As previous poster said a lot of firms are being left behind.

Remember Killarney 2021. All Ireland's aren't won in February.

Remember Omagh 2022 and Armagh 2022? Are we constantly going to refer back to that hammering in Killarney?

Biggest problem is that the quality of the squad has dropped badly from them. We have no subs to come on and change the game for us and some players are badly out of form.

Two biggest concerns is that we are conceding goals far too easily like 4 tonight could hsve been more and we aren't scoring any goals.

We look like a team at the moment once a team gets in front of us we can't dig ourselves out of it and it's a big ask for us to stay up now.

Biggest issue with the North I believe is that across the board we want world class services. We want a world class health system, infrastructure, (roads, housing developments etc) schools and everything on our doorstep. Biggest problem is that we don't want to pay for it. God knows how much the health service needs to get back into shape, NIW state that they need two billion just to get up to standard. Yet if anyone dare mentions ways to fund this like water charges or streamline services we don't want to make the hard choices. We can't have it both ways looking a world class services without paying for it.

Same as the doctors and nurses you want more of them you gotta pay them to make them want to work in the industry.

My problem with the health service here is that we all know it's failing and failing badly but we do nothing about it. Reports are commissioned that recommend that changes be made, like closing certain hospitals. All parties agree but once push comes to shove they won't do it. They hope that London makes the hard choices for them so they can, sit back and be like we opposed that.

Another issue is a hospital like Dungannon should be used as a surgical hub as fairly central to the North and okay roads to it. The issue occurs when they try to do this is that some auld doll from Belfast goes onto the Nolan show or something else and is like oh I'm not fit to go to Dungannon for the operation causing a massive storm in a teacup.

Looks to me like a system like the South with private health insurance may be the only way out of this.

What is people's views on this? Down at the Armagh game yesterday and have to say that I was envious with the amount of supporters they have. I can't remember the last Tyrone had support like that, would guess 2005. Last year was a covid year so numbers were down but even this year as All Ireland Champions we didn't have massive numbers of support. I know people will state cost of living etc but has the success of Tyrone over the last 20 years put people off going to games.

Not sure how it is going to work but there are 18 weekends from start of July to end of October. A couple of double game weeks in July and August would make even more room

18 weekends to fit in 15 league games, 4 rounds of championship and 2 weeks of holiday period in July - that isn't going to work. All this is assuming Tyrone get knocked out before semi final stage as well

I suggested this a few weeks ago and was laughed at and told to stop complaining.  Not possible to complete the league & Championship from August onwards, before Christmas.  Also if starts after July holidays there will be very few Friday night games due to the evenings getting shorter.  I assume there they will have to be some starred games somewhere to get the league going before Tyrone are out of the the championship.  But this will mean that 99% of players will have no football after Easter until about June.

Playing at this time of the year isn't a problem, no issues for soccer season, as long as it has been a consistent program. If the league is to start end of July so be it. Teams can start training after Patricks Day.
As someone said some club teams were breaking covid restrictions to be out training before the turn of the year and they are still training/playing games.

Fair enough with the above but with starting the league in August it knocks out the notion of Friday night games. As evenings by that stage are closing in fast and not enough clubs have adequate flood lights. Would it not have been better to reverse the split season let the clubs go first and play in the good weather instead of a muck fest in December. County season need max every weekend 16 pitches while the club game needs thousand of pitches every weekend.

Am I right in thinking that all clubs will still be playing football this time next year? With the split season coming and the All Ireland set for July and let's assume Tyrone get there. Does this mean that their would be no league football until August, or start the league in say May play starred games (not sure if any) then stop until Tyrone are out. If league doesn't start until August, this leaves a tight time frame to play league and championship before Christmas.

Reason I ask this is that was at game yesterday and general feeling was no one wants to be at football or playing football this time of year.

Thinking back on the season and a few things struck me.

Tyrone were very lucky that it was a straight knockout.  Reason for this is that Tyrone were battle hardened throughout Ulster by having to play Donegal & Monaghan.  These games stood to Tyrone so when they met Kerry they knew where they were strong and weak at.  Kerry & Dublin on the other hand weren't battle hardened and failed once the pressure was put on them. If there was a back door or Super 8's these teams would have learnt from these games and came back stronger.

The other point is Logan & Dooher sticking with players.  In previous years under Harte guys got like a half and if they didn't perform that was it.  Logan & Dooher persisted with these players (two midfielders) and it is bound to give them great confidence that their managers will stand by them.  Thankfully it was repaid in the final.

Looking at Tyrone team for today and I hope I'm wrong but underwhelmed by it. Defence it is what it is, no real man markers for us.

Midfield we lack ball winners and a big ask of Kilpatrick today. Tyrone in general have been weak in this area.

Main issue is with our forward line. Can't see where our scores are going to come from. Donaghy is untested at this level and McCurry might be on form today but if the chips are down who is going to step up for Tyrone today.

Hope I'm  wrong in all these points but should have enough to bate Cavan
