Give people power/status and they'll abuse it... that's been going on since year dot! Ya have to wonder is life easier now or worse?
As bad as Weinstein was, some of the women don't come out of it looking too good either. Take Rose Mcgowan. She takes $100, 000 to keep quiet for years while Weinstein continues raping and assaulting others. Then she decides she wants more money($6m) and is in the process of negotiating this when the NY Times breaks the story  and suddenly she has a change of heart "I was like – ew, gross, you're disgusting, I don't want your money, that would make me feel disgusting,".Now she's shouting it from the rooftops and trying to become the voice of abused women everywhere with her ROSEARMY hashtag.
And best of all, according to her wiki -
In a 2011 interview, McGowan talked about her experience working with director Victor Salva, who is a convicted child molester and child pornography maker,[52] on Rosewood Lane. She said, "I still don't really understand the whole story or history there, and I'd rather not, because it's not really my business. But he's an incredibly sweet and gentle man."

Asal Mor with his now trademark victim blaming. We just need Ferron to say something asinine and hurtful and this thread will have the full set. Oh wait. He already has.

Her behaviour is an affront to victims of abuse. You're too PC to see her as anything other than a victim. If Weinstein raped her he should be sentenced accordingly. It doesn't mean her behaviour since hasn't been abhorrent and 100% hypocritical.

Also, if I remember rightly the previous "victim" I blamed was proven on appeal not to be a victim at all.

Asal Mor

Taking money to work for a child abuser and saying "it's not really any of my business" would be a despicable thing for anyone to do. If she's been through some similar abuse herself she should have some idea of the suffering involved and it only makes her taking the money worse.

If you actually think Ched Evans is innocent you've lost all right to criticise Rose McGowan, or be taken seriously on this topic.

I haven't read much on the Spacey incident but what is it he allegedly done to the guy?  Is it not going to be very hard to prove a lot of this stuff in court?

Seemingly you don't need proof.  Affleck got a roasting the other week for some 2001 show where he basically hugged the presenter.  Much ado about nothing.

Quite the opposite. He squeezed her breast uninvited and in public. The video exists as does his apology. Try not to be a Neanderthal.

Show me the video then because the one i saw had nothing obvious happening.

Ah, right, gone post up some more of these rules so I know whether others and myself can take part in this debate of yours.

if this is true then I have lost respect for her

The Iceman

Looks like Netflix have cancelled House of Cards over the allegations against Spacey...

Seems like he is taking some heat from the Gay community for coming out at the same time as addressing the allegations and leveraging the revelation in some way to hide his past...  his stock is definitely plummeting....
I will always keep myself mentally alert, physically strong and morally straight

He lay on him naked I think was the jest of it!! Hollywood is fecked up, who invites a 14 year old over to his house and makes them lay on their bed while they get naked!!! Jackson was also at this lark and got away with it to a degree..

Surely Spacey has a contract, if they stop it they are in breach of it over allegations, which are just that, would he not have to be charged as a minimum ?
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea

It was only yesterday that i saw a report saying that the 6th series would be the last and then today i see that it has been cancelled altogether

nrico2006

Probably be different if he was sacked and the show went on. As i said about your Coronation Street boy, you would think an allegation isnt enough.

Where are you getting this info from - I have now read the complete article by rapp and he never mentions spacey been naked.   the original article is https://www.buzzfeed.com/adambvary/anthony-rapp-kevin-spacey-made-sexual-advance-when-i-was-14?utm_term=.rlkpE6M50#.dk9QqLowY)for anyone who wants to read it which may be an idea rather than just throwing out wild speculation without any basis in fact.  BTW I am in no way defending Spacey - I agree who invites a 14 year old to a party and pins him down but I do believe in portraying the facts that are known accurately rather than throwing out statements like "he lay on him naked was the jest of it" - no it wasn't - go and read the article
Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience

haranguerer

They've said it was already going to be the last series, not related to the claims against Spacey
