QoS has been stale for a good few years now so I'd say it's a combination of freshening up and ticking a diversity box for presenter and captains. I'd not die of shock if Sam Quek ends up a captain.
Had no idea who you were talking about so I look up Google.Glad I did. Tasty...
Big Liverpool fan too.

When you think you're fucked you're only about 40% fucked.

Alex Scott the new presenter of QOS. She must be loaded with the amount of gigs she's getting.

Not a shocker

What was the reason given to replace the trio on Sky Sports (Le Tissier, Thompson and t'other one I can't recall).

And who has replaced them?

I see no problem with that. Could be decent

Well the fact Merson survived should tell you it wasn't a talent issue!

Le Tissier was sacked because he's a Covidiot who promotes far right rallies

The other lads were gotten rid of to hide the reason for Le Tissier being sacked

Possibly though I hope they don't go down the 'banter' route and keep it as a sports quiz show. There was a sports quiz show Holly Willoughby hosted on ITV and the 'bantz' was absolutely cringeworthy.

The reason it's kept going strong is because they've kept the same sort of format. Deviate from that and it's goodnight, especially with new host/captains.

But I have a feeling the new format will be really bland.

I had stopped watching it because the 'banter' element became unbearable.

Tuffnall & Dawson were insufferable tossers.

I think Tony Pulis and Clinton Morrison were on it last week, only glanced at it for a minute or two

Weren't Dawson and Austin Healey fierce troublemakers on the 2001 Lions tour when they didn't get picked for the test team, they badly undermined the spirit in the camp if I remember rightly

Dawson was a great player though, Healey not so much

Both would eat themselves if made of chocolate or any mildly pleasant edible substance

Healey was one of the original, self styled "Archbishops of Banterbury" who were about as funny as a pandemic
