That was a top performance from Leinster today. 40-13 against the champions La Rochelle. They are talking about the semi final being in Croke Park.

Kelleher should have held onto the third as well instead of spilling it to the scorer.

A terrible performance from Liverpool way under par.

The quarter finals start tomorrow with Real Madrid vs Man City on the rte news channel or the rte player. The ladies football Ireland vs England is on rte 2. Is the ladies football really that popular that it gets its game on the main channel?

Quote from: Capt Pat on April 06, 2024, 09:05:38 PMClare deserved it in the end I think. But the ref nearly handed the result to Kilkenny with the wrong decision to give Kilkenny a penalty and Rodgers a black card. Justice was done when Cody missed the penalty.

You can give a penalty inside the 21 I thought

The ball was passed away and fumbled by the receiving kilkenny player when there was accidental contact between Rodgers and the passing Kilkenny player. Not a penalty or a black card imho.

The penalty and black card is for cynical fouls only denying goal scoring chances inside the 20 yard line.

I was hoping for a bit more from this City v Arsenal game. Very dull at half time.

Poyet to be the new Ireland manager as Georgia beat Greece on penalties.

Ferguson looks and is playing like a broken man at the moment. He needs to get his confidence back. I don't think we will see him scoring tonight. The peno was poor.

He got off lightly I think. Maybe he should have got actual prison time.

What was your problem with Mr Stagg Gallsman? The only thing I remember him for was being caught with a homosexual in his car in the wrong area of the phoenix park.

Man City into the semi finals yet again  , and  on course for another treble.

Is it just  me or is City's continued dominance  really boring?

Was it as boring for non-United fans when  United were  dominating in the 90's and 00's? I can't  imagine it was

Liverpool are still in contention for the fa cup. City have real madrid in the quarter finals of the champions league.

Arsenal and Liverpool are ahead of city in the league.

It is anything but inevitable. If City pull off a treble from here it will be some achievement.

I can see this one going to penalties. Arsenal were fortunate enough to get the one goal tonight.

Arsenal need to win this game tonight against Porto, so they can not just concentrate on their premier league games.
