He's not a doctor though not sure of his occupation. Might be a salesperson of some kind I think.

Not sure who was the doctor.

Ah good man! The doctor was Seamus Mulgrew from Donaghmore! Thanks

Some decent & strange results last night -
Errigal hammering Fianna, by a big scoreline
Dromore drawing in lough shore. Have DKB got new management in place yet. That could be the reason, new voice always gets a bounce
Omagh defeating high flying Moy, or at least they were high flying
Pomeroy losing heavily in Donaghmore who had 14 men for a lot of the game and were missing men due to isolation.
Eglish keep their winning run going
Carmen going strong, not easy to win in the Clarke's

Season on hold if Tyrone win today and results will get back to normal on the return of the county lads - some clubs need a big finish to the season to stay up

Donaghmore men were full out bar Niall Mckenna who's injured. They're a very good team who are only going to get better. We're now in big trouble. Looking like relegation for us unless we win 6 out of our last 8 games.

Donaghmore have a man on the county panel also who wudnt have been playing. Hit with Covid last wk also, I wud be very surprised if they werent missing 1 or 2 with this also

Do we reckon there will be senior fixtures played next weekend, the 13,14th?

You'd assume on the Friday night then? Surely they won't fix Junior league games on the Saturday to clash with the 1st All Ireland semi?

Next two rounds of the Junior football league are fixed for Sunday 8th (2.15 & 3.45 pm) and Saturday 14th August (4.00 & 5.30pm).

Bit strange that is it not?

How does relegation work. Is it bottom 4 straight down? Or are there playoffs to be done. Taking in other clubs.

Edendork, Galbally and Derrylaughan I would say are as good as gone after their slow starts, I'm
not sure they have enough to fight back (Although 2-3 weeks ago I would have had Eglish in that mix).  Edendork badly hit by the starred system.

Pomeroy would be my 4th team to go. They don't seem to get a big lift from
their county men.

Eglish will hang on.

Four straight down.
Unclear as to what happens if a load of teams end up on same points. I imagine score difference and then scores for.

Throw Coalisland into that mix. Worst Coalisland team in years. Wonder what the ref did wrong tonight again? Must be something wrong in that camp. Can't see mc guckin lasting to the next game
A bit of an exaggeration, I'm sure he will last to the next game barring he gets struck by lightening from now to then.

Norf Tyrone

Does the PP of the semi final and the final being put back a week mean that IF Tyrone beat Kerry the ACL would struggle to be completed in Div 2 this year OR we'll need 2 x mid week fixtures. Not sure what way they'd fit it in. The extra 2 x games played in Div 1 means it'll just about squeeze in.

They badly burned a starred game after the National League semi final. Should have been non starred fixture meaning we would be one game ahead now.

1st round of champ is 19th September apparently  :-X
Probably +1 week now

Why are all league games changed to Sunday as opposed to Friday?

Didn't burn anything. County players are not allowed to play club football during county season unless agreed with county management. No way would they have allowed all players to play 1 league club game 3 weeks out from championship in their first season.
That is the whole idea behind the split season. It allows club football to continue without county players but unfortunately Tyrone clubs won't agree and will only accept a certain amount of starred games. Every other county plays away without their county men

Louth trying to implement the same system... mickey moneybags trying his best to damage another county's league system.
