Science us a biteen more complicated than Internet forums/Social media where everything is solved in half an hour.

They're the experts and I would imagine a global pandemic is a pretty pressing matter so it should be of huge concern that the guys tasked with solving this are coming up against a brick wall.

I think the reality is that science won't solve this and we'll just have to wait for it to burn itself out, however long or short that will be.

Would Rafa not be able to sort it out there?

Thought it was very bad form to expect two teams to play a championship Semi-final on what could only be described as a beach on Saturday. You would hope it will have improved for the final. It wouldnt have been done before the Senior or Intermediate Semis/Finals.

You must not have been to Omagh before.

Have been plenty of times. No reason it couldnt have been left until after the final.

154 tickets to include all players, management and supporters. Will be some rows and fall outs in Clubs over tickets. Do they really need 92 people to officiate and steward a game?

It's not 92. You haven't counted the nearly 50 Club+ season tickets.

Should they get priority over club members?

I don't think all insurance is removed.

https://ulster.gaa.ie/2020/03/ulster-gaa-update-on-club-insurance/

Great to know this, thank you.

That's incorrect, look at the date it was posted. It was made clear to all Clubs that the only people who should be on Club property at the minute are those carrying out maintenance works.

Will this be allowed to happen as Dregish is part of a different parish? Any similar examples in the past?
Is there another club in their parish?

Castlederg?

Maybe Kevin Madden is a better coach than Stevie the great. He's definitely much more experienced and I'd take anything Mulligan has to say with a large pinch of salt. Tyrone a top four county atm, Kevin and Hartes challenge is to maintain or better that, and with Galway Cork and Donegal breathing down their neck, thats not a given.

No Peter John, KM has been too busy elsewhere to commit anything back to the club...I'd say that boat has well and truly sailed long ago.

always wondered if he had held a role at his own club over the years.

Each to their own, some people would rather be paid to coach another club than give up that time for free for their own club. Its not a criticism of the man but its just the way the game is. Ive been doing it for 8 years in a row now in my own club and i wouldnt be interested in doing it for money. you just dont have that emotional connection to another club when involved with it.

He coaches underage in Moneyglass.

If we want to have the funding discussion lets have it but it has to be balanced.

Is the funding (most of it cash) from the counties with big supporters clubs included in the annual figures?
What about cash from 'influential backers' such as those alluded to in getting rid of Stephen Rochford?
Do the Ulster counties get funding from multiple sources - Westminster/GAA HQ and Ulster council?
What happened to the (heavily funded by Intel) Kildare underage development scheme in the 90's? Cash get misplaced?
Are Kildare still getting six figure grants from Intel for their schools and clubs and if so, where is this money going?

Heffo,

Thats a fair point in bold above, however, the link you provided gives no evidence of the 120 million other than stating it in writing?

For a foul on ocallaghan who shouldn't be on the pitch!!

People need to read the f**king rule book. He pulled him back not down to the ground. Umpires then report the wrong man

More to the point what's O'Kane sprouting this all in the papers and not let it be dealt internally between the County board and the clubs at the meeting. Good to know the pound signs for the paper come before been a Derry Supporter.
+ 10. Think his latest contribution will not even sit well with more mature journalists or with Irish News. Trying too hard. Getting too personal.

That's balls on both of your points. He is simply doing his job.

I'd agree with the 2 men above. You're talking about volunteers at the end of the day who give up their time for the county. To have inaccuracies about them and their procedures splashed all over the back pages of the IN doesn't sit well with me. It's tabloidesque, gossipy gutter press stuff.  This mornings article had a glaring untruth in it (if you're to take the CB at their word last night).

Call out the inaccuracies then.

Read the articles and then speak with your club delegate who was at the meeting last night. He / she will know

You are the man saying that the story had inaccuracies and untruths. Call them out.

Unlike the IN, I'll not be discussing the ins and outs of the meeting on a public forum. So again, ask you club delegate or anyone you know who was at the meeting, they'll tell you

The hypocrisy of that reply sums it all up.
