There were some great characters in the early days and some epic threads. The fiddler was in a league of his own and i must admit to still opening threads because his name appears. Bummer, did you change your username around the time you "found" the Sigerson Cup? Hope you got your reward cheque from the honorary president of the club...

I previously posted as Setanta from about 99 i think. The build up to the All Ireland semi v meath that year made the occasion all the more enjoyable.

Maybe i'm getting old but the quality of discussion back then seemed much better informed. The hurlers that were marauding around at the time are a big loss to the site.

Didn't know they still played the irish league. Are Newry City still in it?

If ireland had beaten the welsh narrowly would they have been close to england at the top of the table?
Also,b just caught the tail end of it but heard the bbc reporting trouble in both the welsh and french dressing rooms before kick off. Anyone catch that?

Gareth Smith
Oliver Plunketts in Dublin
and Cavan Senior Football Panel.

4 lads from other counties have been called into the Clare Football panel.

So you're saying O'Neill has parents from antrim as those 5 have in their adopted county?

Have u given any examples of players who have changed county without moving to a club in the new county?

By your reasoning, any player can play for any county as long as they come up with an address there?
#9
That cannt be right? Surely that's not sufficient to change your county?

How does o'neill qualify to play for antrim? Is he transferred clubs?

I'd say por is under pressure from those whose opinion matters most

LOL. A thread for the delusional.
What has lifting the supporters' morale gotta do with anything.

The inescapable fact is that the same rubbish squad, overwhelmingly established by the fat controller, I still all liverpool have.

Dalglish switching to 4-4-2 and mumbling thru the collar of his coat won't change a thing
