I'd rather he didn't go running in like a hero in the first place.
He always ends up on his arse.

So you'd rather he pretend nothing happened to his team mate on the ground?

Donal Vaughan really needs to mind his own business in future.
Tired of seeing him rolling around on the ground with his hands over his face.

In fairness he got a fair wallop! Which would you rather, a player to get a wallop like he did and pretend nothing happened or to do what he did?

A smart lad as well as a good footballer, At St. Patrick's he was part of the team that won the Blackboard Jungle quiz on RTÉ (1996/97).

Tyrone deserved to win today. They are flying at the moment and it is easy to see why their supporters were huffed when many dismissed them as serious contenders for the coming year. But this is the league, teams are at different levels, have different goals, resting players and getting players ready from injury for the real McCoy. Still Mr Harte has to be happy heading of from the stadium this evening.

Have to say, today marks the end of The Gunners dominance over Spurs which has been there for yonks! Spurs will be playing Champions League football next season and attracting a better quality of player. The Gunners will be back to trying to hold onto players!

Ah, a total legend. Did it when it counted, 90% of the time. Would not write him off totally. A new manager next year might look for one more year!

Disappointing result. Funny how at this time of the year we give credit to results. Results that often have little or no bearing on the Championship form of a team. From Mayo perspective now is the time to experiment, try and get enough to stay up and find out a few (more) horrible realities. A team can hide during the league playing strong experienced teams in their positions and find they have learned nothing when championship starts.

If Mayo do sh1t in the league, there is no pressure on Horan. If Mayo fail this year to win an AI  :P or to conquer a few big guns on the way. Horan will be gone and it will probably be himself that will walk. He knows that and he knows where his priorities lie. He has probably only six months left in this job.

By the way Bernard Brogan was excellent last night. Must like playing under lights. Just a thought but i think it is probably easier to score into the Hill under lights than in daylight?

His 2009 earnings were revealed by RTÉ to have been €389,314. Not bad for a one hour show of complaining! What does Enda earn again?

999 - Ryan Giggs has currently played 931 senior games for Manchester United, 64 for Wales and four for Great Britain.

Few more games to reach 1000 with Manchester United.

Interesting that he has less caps than Roy Keane.

Never made it to a major championship.

Never made it to any of Wales friendly games either!  :P

Show jumping, remember the days of Paul Darragh, Eddie Macken, Harvey Smith?

As a Mayo man have no problem with Hyde Park. Never had. Most of the time for me the quality of a venue means little or nothing, I'm more interested in the quality of the teams/game.

McHale Park, Castlebar.
Hasn't been filled since the redevelopment. Not helped by piss poor Galway team, which means piss poor Galway support.
Plus the last two Connacht finals have been played in the piss poor Hyde.

Complete White Elephant. Mayo GAA administrators trying to have their own mini Croker. Serious waste of Money, costing the clubs buckets of dosh. At a time where there is no dosh! Little or no championship action to attract the kind of crowds to justify it. And any back door games between Northern teams and western teams end up in the Hyde.

This debate is old hat! Beside the minor problems of Anthems and symbols. There is the major problem of Jobs for the boys halved. The unification of both Leagues. The chances of Northern Irish players making the team. Being honest Northern Irish fans would lose everything, their home ground, their anthem, their players (most who would never be good enough to play in an All Ireland team). While the Republic would gain 2 or 3 players, maintain their home ground and end up pussy footing on anthems like the Rugby. Leave well enough alone!  :-\

From wiki

The newspaper is regarded as on the moderate left wing of the political spectrum, although it has never failed to criticise politicians or parties with similar views. This includes, among other things, the so-called "moral problem" of Italian politics (first mentioned by Italian politician Enrico Berlinguer) and the fragmentation of left-wing political forces.
The newspaper has always had a quite critical line towards Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, especially criticizing his conflict of interest as both entrepreneur and politician. In August 2009, Berlusconi sued the newspaper [9] after it published ten questions addressed to him (and which he refused to answer, most of these questions involved his "escort scandal".
La Repubblica is also known for its stand against the Catholic Church, often criticizing it, especially on ethical topics and its interference in these issues, which were vehemently denounced by Scalfari.
On the 20 November 2007, the newspaper exclusively revealed some wiretapping transcripts between certain RAI and Mediaset directors, aimed at modifying some parts of the TV scheduling of 2005 (regarding the death of the Pope and the regional elections of 2005).

Seen on TG4 documentary on Wednesday night that In 1993 at High Park Magdalene Laundry, Drumcondra, the Sisters of Our Lady of Charity applied for an exhumation licence for the remains of 133 women who had been enslaved in their laundry. The nuns were selling the land to make money. During the exhumation the remains of a further 22 women were discovered. Death certificates were provided for only 75 of the 133 women on the original application. Unbelievably, the Department of the Environment, without asking any questions, put through an additional licence. All but one of the women's bodies were then cremated and reburied in Glasnevin Cemetery in a mass grave. One of the Crane workers interviewed said many of the exhumed remains had plaster paris on them.

A Report done by the IHRC came to the conclusion:
That the burial, exhumation and cremation of known and unknown women and girls who resided in Magdalene Laundries in 1993 at High Park, Drumcondra, raises serious questions for the State in the absence of detailed legislation governing the area and any requirement that all bodies be identified and accounted for in such communal plots. Questions arise as to whether there are death certificates for all those buried in those locations, and whether their remains were properly preserved and reinterred. Similar questions may arise in relation to other communal plots.
