Watched There will be blood, last night myself. Yes DDL is as good as ever, it was interesting how your impression of his character changes throughout the movie, I thought the first 15 minutes were the best part of the whole movie. Personally I thought that it was too long, but unless I think a film is really bad I will watch the whole lot of it before making judgement. I found it reasonably enjoyable even if it was too long.

Having seen it on a flight to Florida earlier this month, I have to say it's a bit overrated.  It's watchable etc, but I didn't think it was as good as it's been made out to be ... watched Juno on a flight back from Boston and thought it was excellent, very funny
