For the likes of RG3, Kap, all the undrafted free agents and the hundreds of lads that get cut in pre-season, is there are a lower level/club level/minor league that they go and play instead for the season?

Canadian Football League is the closest. Used to have NFL Europe, and even the XFL in America, but as of now, if you're not on an NFL Roster, or on a Training Squad, you're on the street if you are in the States.

Some teams pick up the odd player from arena football, but most of the big name players' egos won't let them play at that level.

Some use former NFL trainers as personal trainers to get them over the top, in Green Bay there is a first class facility that caters for some of these guys, it is amazing that some of these guys can shave up to three tenths of a second over their forty time and that is enough to get them a spot on a roster.

Sooners v buckeyes 3-3 @ the half cagey but makes for a good second half

Auburn have a super defence but no offense, the absolute opposite of where they started under Malzahn. Stidham has been very shakey in his first two starts and you'd hope he can improve fast or he will have to be yanked for last year's starter, who at least can move the ball but is made of glass.

Him, and De'Andre Johnson and Tim Bonner from season two of Last Chance U. Jonson really came across well in season two so it would be nice if he he found some redemption in FAU. Lane Kiffin being the coach means there's a spotlight on the team regardless this season.

I have been an Auburn fan ever since the Bo Jackson era, he chose Auburn because the coach there simply told him he could compete for a starting role as a freshman, Alabama told him he might compete for a starting role his junior year, how idiotic was that?

The NFL is back. Jaguars had a big win over the Texans in Houston. Looks like the Packers are going to hold on against the Seahawks.

Hardly holding on now, they had the ball and ran out the clock.

That Seattle offense is shite.

Arizona's season could be over. Palmer looks like an old man suddenly. He's always been a bit windy and the Cardinals offensive line is not good enough to keep a panicky QB from hearing footsteps. David Johnson was having a slow start as well, and then he fumbled a ball, and went out straight away with a suspected badly sprained wrist which may keep him out for several weeks.

Hey Syf, any thoughts on Elliott putting in a good shift for the cowboys last night Ruth all the controversy banging over him? I mean, they released a player who was misidentified in a robbery so aul Jerry is clearly a man of principle. When it comes to a star player, he'd absolutely agree the same...oh wait

An NFL team would start the devil himself if they thought he could be productive

Correct minder, the worst offenders of this historically are the Cowboys and the Raiders, they really set the bar low for bringing in knackers because they can be productive.
