General discussion / Re: Ronaldo's career may be over
February 14, 2008, 09:56:28 AM
Read an article on his time at Real Madrid, he came out of the shower and Capello shouted "are you not ashamed of how fat you are", Ronaldo just smiled. He also worked his way through 3 Magnum ice lollies during a team meeting. His season at Barcelona was one of the best you will ever see, there have only been glimpses of it since.

A perfect example of why the justice system is in the state it is here, say what you want about the good old U.S.A. but those waster bastards would be looking at a life sentence over there.

I was surprised that Keane thaought playing Premiership matches overseas was a good idea, when managers will be the first ones whining about fatigue and fixture congestion. In fairness Sunderland may be in the Championship by then, but fair play to Keane he was a very good club footballer who fiited in well on some excellent United teams........

Biographer's Keane attack
Eamon Dunphy, Roy Keane's biographer, has launched a withering attack on the Sunderland manager, accusing him of becoming a "bull*******g" talking head. "When we were working on that book [Keane's autobiography], he hated the bull**** that was part of manager-speak," Dunphy said. "Now he holds press conferences every week in which he anoints David O'Leary to be the next Ireland manager, anoints Terry Venables as the next Ireland manager. He's talked about how wonderful it is for the Premier League to play more games abroad, and he's just become rent-a-quote. "This is a smart human being and he's been sucked into that Premier League vacuousness, and it's sad to see Roy Keane bull*******g."

This is getting tiresome.
Anyway, anybody any thoughts on the Clare game?

It is, im sure Shaws Road will let anyone know, that really cares, what happened in the Irish News in the coming days, once he gets Brendy Crossan mobilised.

QuoteIf there was ever a game they had to win it was yesterday but they cacked it big time.

Theres a few games coming up this season that United will need to win moreso than Saturdays, although it was a big loss.

Why do you get more than 3 points for certain games? I thought it was on Sunday......

Is any club that has their centenary upcoming get a National League game or is it just if you have sent a load of players to the county? Facilities obviously are a prerequisite........
