If you're not familiar with Wikipedia, in basic terms it's just an online encylopedia that anyone can edit. You don't even have to register, although you will be missing out on some useful tools, like access to pages that you've edited or commented on, preferences that can make editing easier, and your own user and discussion page.

ok lads, its christmas. ye have loads of time off so no excuses.........

let's get to work!

Can i ask you what your wiki user name is ?  Are you a member of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Gaelic_Games

Anyway  i was going to create a new thread for this but since we have wiki related thread i'll add it here . Can anyone provide wiki with a decent copyright free image of rounders to complete http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:GAACollage.png. Am also on the look out for some decent hurling and football images
Anyway, long story short... is a phrase whose origins are complicated and rambling.

Good work that. Have sorted out the Sligo Football Championship page, had been wondering for a while how to go about putting such a page on the wiki. Edited the Mayo Championship page also.

I have all the Longford senior (since 1890 when it began) , intermediate (1966 it started) and minor (1936)  football winners as well as the senior hurling but I fall down on the losers.

I'll see is there some way of cutting and pasting cos I am too lazy to type them all in.

If you too lazy to type them in add them to the articles talk page and someone else will do it

Yes - Emmet Og are Killoe

Sean O'Shea played with Ballymahon, I think. Or was it Civil Service in Dublin. Or both maybe. Laureleye may correct me here.
