All the first round winners lost today in the second round.

20 teams left in the race for Sam.

Unlikely to see that happen again this weekend, 3 of the 1st round winners have a big chance of progressing.

Would expect Armagh to beat Westmeath. Carlow should beat Leitrim too. Cavan v Tipp is tough to call, but Cavan might squeeze through.
Monaghan will definitely beat Wexford, they are the only 1st round winner who will certainly lose.

Monaghan were supposed to definitely bate down......
My mama says this Monaghan team is like a box of chocolates.... You never know which one your gonna get

Will one of the qualifiers be televised next weekend?

Woolly  (in his podcast) made a good point that the B side of the qualifiers will be completely overshadowed next weekend by the A side as they're one round ahead and have the big guns of Mayo and Donegal playing. Have hardly heard a word in the media about the B side.

Clare v Mayo.

Then the week after Sky are showing both Round 3B qualifiers live.

twohands!!!

Cavan 0-11 Tipperary 0-5 29 minutes.

Cavan have hit about 6 points in a row and have I think only one wide.

Tipp have 5/6 wides and a goal attempt off the post so it's not completely done and dusted yet but Tipp probably need a point or two before HT if they are to stay alive.

Tipp had breeze for 1st half I think.

twohands!!!

Cavan 0-12 v Tipperary 0-6 Half-time

Cavan on top by a distance here and it sounds very much like the Cavan players have their shooting boots on whereas Tipp do not.

I think it was 4 of Tipp's points came from free.

8 different scorers for Cavan in that half and one point from play.

Tipp have a mountain to climb here.

Four changes for Monaghan: Dessie, Doogan, Carey and Malone replace Vinny, D Hughes, K Duffy and McCarthy.
