Sean Tobin a point from a 45. Two up, two to go.

Cleared off the Meath line with the defence beaten! Point for Sligo.

Hardy

All over - three point win. A big struggle, by the sound of it. Sligo sounded the better team. A short career in the qualifiers beckons.

First qualifier win since 2011. Won't be screaming it from the rooftops but glad we made it into the draw for the next round. Sounded like a poor enough performance and losing Jones would be a serious set back if he's out. Injuries starting to add up now the strength of the squad being really tested now.

Reilly and O'Sullivan kept quiet again though Reilly did show some good leadership and doggedness in winning ball at the end. Won't be going into the next game with huge confidence that's for sure.
It won't be the next manager but the one after that Meath will become competitive again - MO'D 2016

Only Clare will be happy with their 2nd round performance today, sounds like the other three all struggled. Home advantage will be huge

Rossfan

Clare doing it again once they get out of the Provincial strait jacket.
But aren't Laois on some downward spiral?

Yup. I notice Laoislad is making himself scarce.

A trouncing to Clare, and Div 4. Ouch!

They have been very poor at underage for around 10 years now, they may have a decent u17 team this year though but we will find out more about that in the coming weeks.

Am I right in saying we'll only face the winners of today's games in the next round?

Kuwabatake Sanjuro

Yes and the winners of those two games will have either Roscommon or Cork(assuming no upsets) in the last 12.

edit: I may be wrong there but too lazy to double check.

Aaron Boone

All the first round winners lost today in the second round.

20 teams left in the race for Sam.

Rossfan

So Antrim, Louth, Waterford and Wicklow are definitely Junior😷
