I think his undertaking was very poorly supported by the Beeb. Walliams got wall to wall coverage when he swam the channel, but Eddie Izzard was undertaking a seemingly impossible feat for any man let alone a chubby comedian and yet the Beeb seemed to give it little airtime. Would be seriously pissed off if I was him.
