My club played Emyvale in the 2013 all ireland club semi, was shocked to see them back at junior level. How'd that happen?

Glenfin won the intermediate title in Donegal yesterday.

Fermanagh folk what are Belnaleck like at this level? Similarly Down folk are Teconnaught likely provincial winners or doing well to win county? Derry clubs have a poor enough record at intermediate and especially junior in Ulster.

Belnaleck were junior last year (won through to Ulster final), so they've done very well to come straight up and win intermediate. A coming team, but I think a bit soon to expect much of them in Ulster yet.

Agree about Belanaleck being a coming team but would expect Banagher to take them.  Think Belanaleck missing their main forward too.  Fancy Limavady against the Down champions too, who are traditionally poor at that level.  Granted I know nothing of Limavady.

I'd have this Limavady side as being slightly better than the past couple Derry Junior winners but not sure if they'd be fit for the likes of Emyvale. A Derry club has never won the Ulster Junior club but have reached the final a few times.

Banagher will probably fancy their chances for a run and have a few present and past county players, most notably Mark Lynch. Derry have won Ulster 3 times at Intermediate level (Craigbane twice and Coleraine).

Down junior club football isn't an overly great standard. Teconnaught have gone through Division 4 unbeaten and the JFC with relative ease bar the final which they only won by a point.
Down's record at Ulster JFC level is generally poor. Our leagues are aligned to our championships and thus the quality of the Junior level is representative of this.
Our club played Belnaleck in the Ulster JFC last eight last year and I would have regarded them as the same standard as a strong Intermediate team in Down.

Decent
Defensively they are big and strong. They have the Cullen's and Kane Connor who all were starters for Fermanagh this year.
Also another three men who would have been involved with Fermanagh squads in recent times in their forwards
They beat both Enniskillen Gaels and the favourites for the title, St Patrick's Donagh who played division 1 football this year in Fermanagh.
They didn't get promoted though from division 2.   Lost the playoff to go up in extra time the week after they won the championship
Managed by Colm Bradley.  Former Fermanagh and Enniskillen Gaels player.
Big strong physical team who have a very reliable freetaker and had a good run last year in the Junior .
Have a feeling themselves and Banagher could be close enough
Wanted.  Forwards to take frees.
Not fussy.  Any sort of ability will be considered

Both Derry sides through:

Limavady 2-09 Teconnaught 0-11
Banagher 2-11 Belnaleck 0-09

Doing a bit of research on this and asking for a little help. Derry is similarly aligned to leagues.

Derry had 38 total clubs play senior football this year
Intermediate winners Banagher ranked 17th (came 1st in Div 2)
Junior winners Limavady came 30th (came 1st in Div 3)

Any chance you could throw up total clubs in county and 'ranking' based on league position for each county?

Down SFC Winners Burren - 1st in Division 1 (1st out of 43 clubs)
Down IFC Winners Bredagh - 6th in Division 2 (18th out of 43 clubs)
Down JFC Winners Teconnaught - 1st in Division 4 (35th out of 43 clubs)
