How come the ref signalled three minutes extra, there were no subs, no injuries, but he played 4 1/2 minutes?

Should he not have blown up before the 45 (as the Down goalie saved it)?

Anyone willing to give Wicklow some credit?

Yip, they have a great manager  ;D

Did you see the Wicklow tr**p flicking the Down player in the balls?

Should be getting his four week suspension this week if past cases or anything to go by. Commentators never even mentioned it hope Tohill highlights it after the game.

When Dan Gordon Fielded the ball and hurt his ankle while landing, the wicklow man kicked him on his standing leg, not a word said!

That no 13 has thrown the elbow twice now...

Couldn't be the case, the commentator says it is a good clean game with none of that stuff! Id say if it was a Down man who threw the elbow twice it would be a different story!

Anyone know any good deals about at the min? Need to get a laptop for general use, planning on spending up to £500.

Saw this on hotukdeals.com, looks like a pretty good deal, although if you have 500 dabs to spend you could probably get one with a higher spec if you wanted

I dont think Parry can be blamed for Owen not signing from Madrid.  Newcastle had a £16m bid accepted and Liverpool didnt have or weren't prepared to pay that amount.  They met with Owen and basically told him the only way they could afford him was by him telling Madrid he wouldnt sign for Newcastle, only Liverpool, which would have enabled them to negotiate a lower transfer fee.  Owen bottled it and wouldnt do that because he was afraid of Madrid not accepting a lower bid and he would be stuck there rotting in the reserves meaning he probably wouldn't make the England squad for the world cup!
As for him signing now, he would be available on a free transfer because his contract expires this summer, I would be happy enough to sign him on a pay as you play basis.

who is richard downing? If its stuart downing he plays on the left and i would see that as goin backwards and put him in the same class as a pennant etc... i think we should be goin after the likes of a walcott or a lennon, someone who has lightning pace and can attact and get beyond defences.

I think Liverpool are stocked ok on the left side, Babel and Riera can play as wingers and Aurelio could do a job as a left-midfielder.

I agree another option is needed on the right, however.  You wouldn't have a chance of signing Walcott though.  Lennon makes much more sense, but I would expect Spurs to put up a big fight.

How about El Zhar?  What do you guys make of him?  Haven't seen much of him myself, but he was a lively sub on one occasion I saw him.

Lennon has just signed a two year extension to his contract while Walcott is stalling on a new deal with Arsenal,  Arsenal also have a history of selling their top players if a good enough offer is made, if Walcott continued to stall on a new deal then i would say there wouldnt be too much differnce in the price of the two players!

I seem to remember when Guardiola took over Barca in the summer he listed a few players who he did not 'trust' and wouldn't be in his plans, E'to was one of these players and was basically up for sale.  Im not sure if he refused to sign for interested clubs or Barca didnt get high enough offers, but surely if Benitez wanted him he would have signed him last summer when he was available and probably a lot cheaper than he will be now after a good season?

When Desmond was visited by Faraday in the past, a memory was imposed on the future Desmond, the same with Widmore when Locke appeared in the camp. So when all this stuff is happening to the young Ben, I suppose he'll know that it was Sayid who shot him? Or will he be alive at all?

One thing im not sure about, this season, Ben told locke that Jack had just booked a ticket to fly to wherever it was "tonight", then Ben kills Locke. But in one of the other season, you see Jack looking at death notices in a paper for the death of jeremy Bentham, and then there is a scene where Jack goes to the funeral home etc. But if the flight that they all got back to the Island was the same day that Locke was killed, there wouldn't be enough time for a death notice and Locke being brought to the funeral home etc. Maybe just a mistake?

I think Ben told Locke that Jack had booked a ticket to Sydney, in the last serious Jack told Kate that he had been using the free flights that Oceanic had given them because of the crash to fly to Sydney and back, (the same route that the original flight was on) in the hope that he would getback to the island, this was around the time of Locks death as far as I remember!
