Some improvement on day 1 but it was a pity that First Lieutenant just didn't settle early on and probably cost himself the race. Hopefully he'll be back next year for the Gold Cup. Simonsig looked exceptional and nice to see Champagne Fever justifying Thomond O'Mara's belief in him on the better ground. I knew that bumper on Stephens Day would throw up a few decent horses!

Wasn't heavily involved financially in the Champion Chase but it left a real sour taste in the mouth. Pointless debating what would have happened had the fence been jumped or been dolled off properly because nobody can say for sure. However, for the stewards to deem that the correct procedures were followed is a complete cop-out. Andrew Lynch clearly was unsure for a split second whether or not he was supposed to jump the fence on the outside where it was clear. The wing should have been placed across the fence like you'd see at any bog standard meeting at any gaff track in Ireland. To have such a situation occur in one of the biggest races of the year is pathetic. I've seen better organisation at p2ps.
There's Seán Brady going in, what dya think Seán?

Jesus the Ryanair is a serious puzzle. I like Somersby but there are at least six others with strong claims. Not original but I think Oscar Whisky may go close today. Divers has great course form. Petitfour EW and BecauseIcouldntsee EW.

sammymaguire

The racing is not drawing the same attention as previous years...

McCoy gotta get a winner today.  :-\

Anyone want to tell me why Alberta's Run is 10/1 for the Ryanair?

Lost too much on Day 1, and this is my only bet left of the week. Someone please put me off.
