Result from tonight:  Kerry 1-16 Clare 0-11 (half time 1-8 to 0-3)

Final will be Cork v Kerry
A month wait to the final and then another month before the All Ireland quarter finals. Can they not schedule fixtures a little better in Munster?

Leaving Cert in the meantime.

I thought that was to become less of problem since minor became U17?

Thought the same...no explanation for the month between Munster final and AI Quarter final though.  The tradition of having the minor final as curtain raiser for the senior final in Munster is all I can come up with.

Makes more sense to play the U20 final with the senior final maybe?

Munster Minor Final:  Kerry 3-14 Cork 2-14.    Kerry beat Cork by 16 points in the round robin portion of the championship, so the Rebels improved a good bit and found a better side.

Quarter Final line-up has Munster v Ulster sometime near the end of July.  Kerry play the losers of Monaghan/Tyrone, with Cork playing the winners.

2 surprises I presume?

Looking at 2017 minor (which was U18) should show us something.

Except it doesn't...

QF's:  Cork 3-21 Tipp 1-8, Kerry 2-16 Clare 1-6, Limerick 1-10 Waterford 0-9;

2 Play-offs: Clare 5-11 Waterford 0-6, Clare 0-10 Tipp 0-5;

Semifinals: Kerry 2-17 Cork 1-10, Clare 3-13 Limerick 0-12

Final: Kerry 2-21 Clare 0-3

Dunno what to make of it...player indifference in Clare and Tipp?  Although David Clifford and Diarmuid O'Connor from that Kerry minor team are ineligible to play U20 this year.

U-20 Munster semifinal:

Kerry 0-18 Limerick 1-3.

Cork/Waterford semifinal pushed back 24 hours (to Friday night 12 July) - No bonfires expected in Clonakilty for that fixture.

A bit of mis-match that other semi final was. Cork 5-23 Waterford 0-07
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Won't be easy game against Cork in final

Cork off to flyer 0-7 to 0-1 ahead. Jack O'Connor looking a little anxious on the sideline.

Half time  Cork 0-10 Kerry 0-6. A deserved lead for Cork.  Kerry will need to improve their shooting and shot selection to win this final.

40 mins played Cork well in control do Kerry have any answer?   Cork 1-13 Kerry 0-7

Cork are very impressive, have taken some lovely scores.

Cork are just too physical and athletic for these Kerry lads many of which still look like U17s.
