Moygashel must be a lovely, modern place;

"Controversy over commemoration[edit]

Speaking in 2014, Stephen Travers, a survivor of the Miami Showband massacre, spoke out about the erection of a banner in Moygashel's main street honouring Somerville. Travers expressed his hope that the banner would remain permanently in order to shame those who erected it and to pose a question to Moygashel parents, if they wanted their children to grow up like Somerville.[22] Travers in 2016 offered to meet those responsible for the banner to justify Somerville's glorification.[23] In 2017 a man was arrested after removing and stealing the banner.[24] A Moygashel residents' spokesman stated the people of Moygashel were in support of the banner and it would be re-erected upon its return. The spokesman also said that the banner had been erected every year previous without any incident. Relatives of Somerville's victims had requested the PSNI take down the banner.[25] However, when a new banner was later made and erected, the PSNI stated the banner was legal as no crime had been committed. This was heavily criticised by Stephen Travers. A Moygashel Residents' Association spokesman said the community were happy with the new banner, rejected the notion Somerville was a terrorist and proclaimed him as very much a part of the Protestant culture of Moygashel.["

Wasn't a fan to be honest. Another example of Netflix taking what might have made a half decent one hour documentary and dragging the absolute ass out of it out to make it into a full series.

Thought it was a poor show - correct in that it was dragged out.

And then the ending  ::)

Moygashel is a dump. One of those places you wish you could take an eraser to and forget about.

I'd never heard the story about the Hotel Cecil, the first 2 episodes were good. The final 2.....as you say, dragged out.

Yeah the "revelation" at the end about the lid...FFS!! If they had just mentioned that little detail at the start it would have just made the entire documentary utterly pointless. Seems they just left it to the end so as to enable them to spend three long, repeditive episodes pretending there was a mystery or element of doubt as to whether or not anyone else was involved in her death. Ridiculous!

I don't mean to make light of a serious subject matter, nor do I typically read the SW, but did anyone see the story of the Chinese man who was accused of running a massage parlor as a cover for Prostitution in Dundalk. The charges against him were dropped. His name, however, was Chong Fuch Ho. I mean Ho Li Fuch. Definitely an unfortunate name given the charge.

I can't believe what I've just seen.

Are you ready for this?
