Of all the true crime documentaries on Netflix that I have watched, that is one of the best and seemingly far-fetched, but its real.  The Jinx and The Staircase are two others that are unreal.

I'd have to respectfully disagree about The Staircase. What could/should have been a decent one hour documentary, stretched threadbare in order to fill out a 13 episode series.

It was long compared to others, but that was to do with the fact that its 3 separate shows emerged togethers over the 15/20 years. The Keepers is the nun show, was excellent too. I would expect a really good one on the Original Night Stalker/East Area Rapist/Golden State Killer in the next year or two.

Have you watched 'I'll be gone in the dark" on Netflix? 6 part documentary following this from the perspective of a realt crime author.. Really good show

Big revelation from your doll Gilly last night, although neither her or Sam understood the significance of it.

Aye but there's no way they could know that it was significant when Jon doesn't even know his da, question is though did they bring that book North to the wall with them.

I think Sam was writing it out in a new book which he then gave down to his son so I assume that they have it away with them to the wall..

been laying off work for a few weeks so got to watch a few films -

end of watch - 7/10 - good performance from Gyllenhaal but the hand held camera shots started to annoy me after first hour
skyfall - 5/10 - usually enjoy the Bond films but this was poor. not enough action and dragged on a bit
silver lining - 7/10 - not your usual romcom but cooper was very good in that role and kept you interested to the end
the impossible - 8/10 - real tear jerker from start to finish. amazing to think what those people went through..
Ted - 6.5/10 - thought this was actually ok. few laughs in it. should have got someone else for voice over. if your a fan of family guy you'll find it off putting listening to mc farlane as someone else..

still have lincoln, django and argo downloaded so have a few to keep me going..

Ballinderry v Greenlough  BDERRY by 7+ - the shamrocks will have far too much fire power for Greenlough and will also boss midfield - shamrocks by 7-8 points

Steelstown v Ballinascreen SCREEN by 3 - will be alot tighter than most think but first senior championship game for Steelstown will be a tough ask. screen to pull away in final 15Min's

Magherafelt v Banagher MFELT by 1 - Again alot closer and maybe even an upset if Magherafelt aren't up for it. Banagher are well drilled but rely too much on Lynch. Mc Guckin is a big loss for Mfelt especially with their defensive system where they need a free scoring forward to kill teams off.

Craigbane v Bellaghy  BELLAGHY by 5 - Bellaghy will be too strong around the middle and with Craigbane missing a few of their keys players i can see Bellaghy canter to a win here.

Glen v Dungiven DUNGIVEN by 4 - Both teams not going great in the league but Dungiven are a championship side and should be strong enough for the young Watties.

Lavey v Kilrea KILREA by 1 - Hard to call this one but think Kilrea will have too much up front. Lavey need big games from Murphy and O Boyle if they are to out score Kilrea. Again Lavey are a championship side and will test the heart of this Kilrea side

Slaughtneil v Coleraine SNEIL by 4 - Sneil have been the most impressive team in the league with a very tight defence. Coleraine will run them close but think Sneil will finish the stronger

Loup v Glenullin -GLENULLIN BY 1 - This wont be pretty with both teams being very defensive. Could end up a draw but the Bradleys too edge it for the Glen at the very end

Club game in Derry and Paddy Bradley is giving one of the Dungiven defenders a terrible roasting a few years back.

Alfie Dallas who was managing Dungiven at the time took this player off and as he was leaving the pitch Alfie said "Dont worry about it Davy, ive seen him roast good players" ;D ;D

Think it was Alfie as well, half time in a championship match and Dungiven are getting well beat by someone he says "Lads the longer we stay in this changing room the longer we'll stay in the championship"

Anyone know good sites for comparing household appliances that actually compare stores that deliver to Northern Ireland?

Ive tried all the well known ones - kelkoo, shopzilla but all their stores only deliver to mainland UK

When ye ask someone for money that they dont have!
"You cant take knickers aff a bare arse"
"Like getting blood out of a stone"
"You cant whistle without an upper lip"

When yer quiet thirsty
"Jez im dry as a nuns c**t"

When something is very hard
"Its as hard as a whores heart"

When yer hungry
"Jez id eat the snotters of a corpse"

Any reports on how Cathal Mc Keever is getting on in Carrickmore? I heard he was playing corner back in a reserve match.. Surely come the championship he will be a def starter on your senior team. Hes some player - both codes!!
