Kerry guaranteed Ulster opposition and Cork and Mayo likely to face Ulster opposition.
No - it still depends on the order they come out tomorrow.  The 'can't play' clause is not a certainty. Otherwise the draw could go on for a long time!!!
Kerry have a 50% chance of playing Tyrone and 50% chance of playing Monaghan and 0% each of Cork and Mayo.
That seems like a certainty to face Ulster to me!

Cork and Mayo both have a 75% chance of playing either Derry or Armagh and a 25% chance of playing Dublin.

Sometimes thread titles aren't very accurate, but this one has hit the nail on the head!
There is no pairing that definitely can't happen. An dtuigeann tú?
There is, Galway cant play any of Armagh, Kerry, Dublin or Derry in the quarter final. Fact.

I think Mayo have the best panel of all of the teams left, problem is management just dont seem to know how to use them properly.
Have the best management team left as well, see above

I think Dublin might be the best draw for Mayo, two things for sure, cant handle any sort of blanket and cant handle being favourites against an underdog and based on the odds would be favourite versus Armagh or Derry, who will both

If Mayo get Derry then I think Derry have a great chance, I think Mayo will get Derry, just a feeling.

And on the Ryan O'Donoghue furor, you cant see him actually make contact with anything so if thats some sort of ban then its going to be CCCC and the high court a la Dublin and the peak Diarmuid Connolly days.
People losing their shit on social media on it, its turned into a "stamp" now apparently, mainly because of Parkinsons leading comment posting the tweet.
We dont do this sort of thing in GAA despite lads getting thumps and belts in the opening moments of championship matches week in and week out up and down the country.

Maughan gone from Offaly

And looks like Tomás Ó Sé will be his replacement. Probably Maughan final inter County gig a long time at it some amount of milage built up.
Hes only the same age as Jack O'Connor

A friend of from Kerry reckons Peter Keane is in contention for Mayo job. Kevin McStay interested and has lined up Stephen Rochford to be in his backroom team.
Not a chance on Keane I'd say. Too far and he has a business to run. Plus hes never really done anything except minor. County board want Solan it seems, Dempsey if he has a right mgmt team with him is probably the best choice given that we've had a good record of lads transferring club success to county success. Knockmore were nowhere for a long time and hes heading for 3 in a row next season and he has no real superstars on that team except Kevin McLoughlin who is coming to the end of his time

How the hell can you lose 3 matches in championship but still make an All Ireland final? Makes no sense

With a round robin system. Was a few years that Galway minors played one Championship game and knocked out after losing. Which is best and fairest format?
Any system where Galway get knocked out early is a great system

Yerrah, dont be daft and throwing owl facts and statistics in the way. Reasons why you are talking complete nonsense:

1. He doesnt play for Kerry so his scores dont count as much as Kerry forwards, even score he gets is automatically discounted by 66% as hes not a Kerry forward. Do your sums now Mr facts and figures and see what you get!
2. THe Sunday Game said Mayo have no "marquee forwards" so thats that knocked on the head
3. He never won an all ireland so cant be any good. All of the lads who did even if there were number 30 on a one hit wonder team that were never seen again are miles better than him.

U17 Semi finals set for Saturday 25th of June. Anyone's guess why they couldn't be on the build with the senior quarter finals in Croke Park.

Galway v Derry 1pm in Parnell park
Mayo v Kerry 2:45pm O'Conner park

Gaa, at the top level, is out of touch, especially these days.

Do Derry supporters have to buy another ticket for this game ?

Galway supporters expected to travel up to Dublin twice in 2 days, an absolute joke. They caused themselves a problem when they put Galway & Derry on different days.
Sure they Galway supporters will all be in the one car, one lad drives one day and another the next and it'll be grand.

I would fear a bit for Mayo against Kerry, the scoreline could get nasty here.
Its always possible that Mayo could get a batin' especially given the performance against Kildare wasnt the best, but I wouldnt read too much into the league final. Vastly different team out last Saturday than the league final and if JH starts some of those who impressed from the bench that day even different again

Course they could, both teams well used to Croker Park, you'd imagine Kildare will be bulling from the Dublin defeat so theres every reason they could win.
Kildare are very open down the middle, but not sure if Mayo have the scoring power to take advantage of that currently.
Saying that I thought Mayo were moving very well, especially in the first half the last day, just missing a good run, if they had scored another goal before half time I think they would have run away with it.
But Kildare can absolutley win Saturday.

Yes, lots of injuries. Ryan O'Donoghue is out with a groin strain, Michael Plunkett broke his leg. Jason Doherty came back from long term injury, got injured again but is now supposed to be back but still rumours that hes not fully right. Cillian O'Connor has played one competitive game in almost 12 months, Rob Hennelly might be back, Oisin Mullen doubtful, Paddy Durcan was injured but might be back as well.
Mattie Ruane got a knock and Jordan Flynn is still recovering from a broken ankle.
Lucky to field a team at this rate. Anyway I dont think either team is going anywhere this year so its a bit of a nothing game in the scheme of the All Ireland winnder.
