2 years ago he could have Given for £8m but apparently thought he was commanding enough in the area!

£20m would have got Given and Haangeland from Fulham and left Arsenal as a team epxecting to win things rather than hoping.

In 15 years in charge of Arsenal how many good defenders has Wenger bought? Sol Campbell. Vermalleen.Any more?
