Great result. Arsenal deserved it. Can't remember any crucial Chesney saves. I thought Wilshere was the best player on the pitch.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

That's because Messi actually ended up putting them wide.

I thought Chesney Hawkes did very well 1:1 with Messi, stayed very big schmeichel like, no VDS with the ball at his feet but a great prospect..

Jack Wilshere was the best player on the park. Complacency was definitely the problem for Barcelona, only Guardiola knows why David Villa came off...

100% agree with that.

He was incredible.

Wilshere completed 10 of 11 passes in the attacking third.

Was the best player on the park tonight. Bar none.

In seven matches, Lionel Messi is yet to score a single goal in England & 120 passes Xavi made, 69 more passes than any Arsenal player (Fabregas, 51) on the pitch tonight.

Do you just read google (or substitute any statistical fotball web-site for google) and copy and paste?!

Gilberto used to have those figures too. He passed backwards as well.

Wenger fairly taught Mourinho and Fergie how to beat Barca the right way tonight.

That's right. Sure José only put the 4 past them at the Bridge a few years back AND won it over two legs. Over to you Arsene.

Let's just hope Barce's biggest asset isn't back in a few weeks time!

Talking about passing stats. When Barca played Real in Dec Only two players on the pitch had completed 100 passes in a game. Xavi and Xabi Alonoso whose only 100 pass game came against Barnsley. I think tonight was something like Xavi's 8th 100 pass game in 12 months.  As the modern game is soo much about possession I'm always surprised when he plays that well and still loses. Got to give credit to Arsenal for that.
