Wenger has done a fantastic job turning Arsenal around and things look great because of the run they are on but everything is relative.

Would Arsenal fans have been happy last summer, if they had been told they would finish 3rd, be 15 points off the top and have another trophyless season?

ONeill

That is the reality. You cannot run from the fact that the squad possesses a lot of players who aren't capable of being part of a title winning side and this run has deflected from that. Yet, in Arsene we still trust and let's ride the rollercoaster in the mean time.

Powerful first half performances from Rosicky, Song and Arteta. Gervinho was prominent in that period two whilst Sagna and Gibbs showed well. Walcott managed to control a couple of passes. Good to have 2 fit full backs. Villa didn't offer much at all.

Only 12 points off top now, all to play for....

Arsenal have Manchester City at home next target to catch them?

QPR away next but if Arsenal come within single points of Man City or Man United it would be an excellent end to the season.

Must be tempting to think what might have been? Have had some couple of months.

Was looking at the figures for this latest winning run (7).

It's right up there with the best of Arsenal teams which is quite bewildering as it's one of the worst Arsenal sides (in my opinion) since '96.

Arsenal's longest runs overall in top flight

Games    Date

14**    2002
10    1998
10    1987
9    2004
9    1971
8    2000
7*    2012
7    2007
7**    2004
7**    1968
7    1955

* = ongoing record.
** = record set over two seasons.

Probably explained by saying this is one of the weakest Premier Leagues in quite some time. It would explain that run, how United are on top despite being at their weakest for some time and how the promoted sides are more than safe. The gap to the top clubs in the Championship is minimal.

Well feck that anyway.

Didn't deserve anything from that, TV5 had a mare and personally think Ramsey should be rested up, in awful form at the moment.

I would hate to be a fan of QPR, quite capable of getting up for the so called big clubs but not the lower table clubs, poor professionally attitude imho.
