Slowly she does it need a secondary striker, wonder what the story with Park is, not getting a look in..

Arsene Wenger confirms Park Chu Young will make his debut against Bolton in the Carling Cup on Tuesday.

Was really impressed with Arshavin's performance tonight. From the first minute he chased and harried. At throw ins or free kicks against he was constantly directing and goading other players. Scored a typical Arshavin goal and cleverly set up Park's. If he can maintain that performance level, RVP has a partner.

Vermaelan was steady - do you drop the German or Koscielny?

I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

Park rarely wasted a ball but seemed a bit light on it. He's clever but hard to see him being prolific.

Ox-Chamb definitely has more natural ability than Theo but needs a run of games. Didn't play particularly well and made a few poor decisions/caught on the ball but has the ability to hold off players which Walcott lacks. I read where someone wrote a few weeks ago that he was faster than Walcott. He's not.

Frimpong was so-so. Again, possesses good physical strength but has a habit of losing the ball unchallenged with a heavy touch and then throws himself at the ball - liable for a few reds.

Coquelin had a decent game but again lacks a bit of concentration and he gave a suicide pass for their goal.

Fabianski had a real Almunia moment and let the ball squirm through his hands and somehow over the bar.

Nobody really stood out though, as it has been in this competition over the years, that natural flair they produce in glimpses is enough to overcome most non-top 4 teams.

EC Unique

Great result in great game. Arsenal look like they could make the top 4 after all.

Dinny Breen

Bizarre game, you won't see worse defending from again..

Wenger talks about belief a lot, that game will give Arsenal massive belief..

Walcott had a very good game..

Didn't see it - mad result.

I hear Bayern Munich are sniffing (£20M) for RVP; it'll be a complete disaster for the Gooners if he leaves.
My hands are stained with thistle milk ...

EC Unique

Currently top scorer in PL. Would he not be worth more?

First match I've not seen live in yonks.

Therein lies the solution. Drive to the backwoods of Tyrone when the Arse are on.

2 goals at Old Trafford, 3 at Blackburn, 5 at Chelsea.

If somehow they learn how to defend before the end of the season and RVP completes one full season they could make the top 4 yet.
